Common Fallacy of Muslims: Who was about to be sacrificed on the altar by Abraham?
Did angel Gabriel really appear to Muhammad and reveal the Quran to him? Or was it from the Angel of Light, the Satan (2 Cor 11:14)? Let's review on the true identity of the "unknown spirit" that appeared to Muhammad at Hira cave in 610AD and thereafter until 632AD.
Based on the Mosaic law or God's eternal law, the minimum number of witnesses required to establish the matter is at least 2 witnesses. The Lord God said to Moses (Deuteronomy 19:15) "at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established."
Lord Jesus said (Matthew 18:16) " in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established."
Even if the revelations were given by self-proclaimed angel to Muhammad, the matter could not be established and the revelation is inadmissible unless these revelations were confirming the earlier revelations from the prophets before him. Angel Gabriel is merely a single witness and other prophets earlier than Muhammad must confirm his words. Thus Quran always declare that it is "confirming" the earlier revelations. Quran 3:3 (Pickthal) "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was before it, EVEN AS He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." So based on the Quran, Allah revealed the Torah first to Moses, then the Gospel to Jesus and He was confirming the truth of the Torah and the Gospel to Muhammad.
Therefore the fulfillment of the prophecy given by the unknown spirit and the consistency of the teachings in the Quran shall be the absolute test in determining the true identity of the unknown spirit as whether he was from Satan or from God.
One can trust the Gospel of Jesus preached by Apostle Paul. At least he made a declaration of the Gospel message that he preached: But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." (Galatians 1:11-12). Around 57AD Apostle Paul wrote to warn the Corinthians: "For if he who comes to you preaches another Jesus whom we did not preach, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you did not accept, you may well put up with him! " (2 Corinthians 11:4) "And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an Angel of Light." (2 Corinthians 11:14 EMTV)
Obviously the unknown spirit had preached another Jesus who was not crucified. Quran 4:157 "And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger - they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain."
The objective of this article is to expose the lies of the unknown spirit who appeared to Muhammad and told him that Quran was confirming what was revealed before it even as he revealed the Torah and the Gospel. All the under-mentioned verses will be proven false revelations if they are contradicting with the truth found in the Torah and the Gospel.
Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel."
Sura 5:46 And We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps, confirming that which was before him in the Torah, and We bestowed on him the Gospel wherein is guidance and a light, confirming that which was before it in the Torah
Sura 6:92 And this is a blessed Scripture which We have revealed, confirming that which (was revealed) before it
Sura 35:31 As for that which We inspire in thee of the Scripture, it is the Truth confirming that which was (revealed) before it.
Now the word "confirming" is a present continuous tense which is used for thing that is on-going, i.e., "something that is true in the Past and it is still true Today". For instance, "he is reading the Gospel of Jesus"; that is, he is still doing it now. If the Gospel today has been changed, then verse Surah 3:3 is a contradiction as it fails to be confirming the earlier revelations in the Torah and the Gospel. If the verse Surah 3:3 failed, then the whole book is questionable.
Sura 18:27 And recite that which hath been revealed unto thee of the Scripture of thy Lord. There is NONE who can change His words, and thou wilt find no refuge beside Him.
Sura 5:48 "And unto thee have We revealed the Scripture with the truth, confirming whatever Scripture was before it, and a watcher over it." (Note: "watcher" means guardian to preserve it from corruption and the like)
There are irrefutable proofs that Quran has both internal and external contradictions. Muslims have claimed that Allah permitted the Torah and the Gospel to be corrupted. Is this claim not contradicting with Sura 18:27? Muslims may be quick to defend that the Torah and the Gospel are already corrupted by the scribes or Christian scholars and are lost forever. That is a false statement and a lie perpetuated by Muslims throughout generations to discredit the Bible; it actually contradicts with Sura 5:48 which claimed there is a "guardian" over it. How could the Torah and the Gospel be corrupted when Allah is a guardian over it?
Let's this article also prove that the corruption of Scripture is mere evil saying of disbelievers and not in conformity with the truth.
The Torah is the first 5 books of the Old Testament whereas the Gospel is the first 4 books of the New Testament in the Holy Bible. Holy Bible is a collection of 66 Books written by over 40 authors with a span of 1,500 years.
The Torah was given to Moses about 1500 B.C about 2,050 years earlier and the Gospel was written between 55AD and 70AD that is 550 years earlier than the Al-Quran. The Gospel was written merely about 22 years after the death of Jesus around 33AD, while most of the apostles of Jesus were still alive. The Gospel of Jesus was written by Jesus' apostles who are eye-witnesses of the things taught by Jesus and what they saw about Jesus' ministry, death & resurrection.
Quran came around 610AD with a short span of less than 23 years until the death of Muhammad due to effect of poison, in 632AD. But the oldest manuscript of Quran found was around 750AD only that is 120 years later after the death of Muhammad. Earlier on, the Quran verses were memorised and recited frequently by word-of-mouth & written on leaves, fragments etc and not compiled into a Book. The variant texts of Quran were harmonised by Caliph Uthman around 644-656AD and many variant manuscripts were burnt. How can Caliph Uthman decide which manuscripts is better since Muhammad died long ago in 632AD and cannot confirm it.
There are 6,236 verses in the Al-Quran; the length of verses can vary for 1 sentence to several sentences so it does not mean that the number of verses has any scientific data. There is only 1 book with 114 chapters in Quran as compared to 66 books of the Holy Bible; the Old Testament comprises of 39 Books and New Testament (3x9=) 27 Books. So it is illogical for Quran to be considered as the book of final authority when there is no single statement of claim therein except for "confirming". The logic is the newer book must prove itself that it is the truth and is confirming the other older books such as The Torah and The Gospel.
Yusuf Ali's Translation is commonly used but it seems to have lots of interpolation with his own words that favors his doctrine. Here is the evidence of Yusuf Ali's interpolation and change of Allah to "God" which is not the original name for the Muslim Supreme Deity. God is a "title" and not a name while Allah is the name of the Deity mentioned in the Quran.
Sura 4:82 |
Yusuf Ali : |
Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than God, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy. |
Pickthal : |
Will they not then ponder on the Qur'an ? If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein much incongruity. |
Most quotation of verses will be taken from Pickthal Translation in this article unless otherwise expressed in the parenthesis.
Why the Quran is used to compare with the Holy Bible and not with other books?
Because Quran itself claimed to be confirming the Torah and the Gospel. It is therefore most appropriate to determine as to whether or not there is any truth in its statement of claim. Quran 3:3 (Pickthal) "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, CONFIRMING that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." Quran 4:82 Will they not then ponder on the Qur'an? If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein much incongruity (discrepancy).
Discrepancy#1 What was man created from?
Dust | Blood Clot |
---|---|
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Comments: The first revelation given by the unknown spirit already has internal & external contradiction |
|
Quotations shall be taken from Pickthal Translation unless otherwise expressed.
Discrepancy#2 Whose soul will be lost in hell-fire if follow a false prophet?
Prophet Only | Prophet & his followers |
---|---|
34:50 Say: "If I am astray, I only stray to the loss of my own soul: but if I receive guidance, it is because of the inspiration of my Lord to me: it is He Who hears all things, and is (ever) near." (Yusuf Ali) Comments: It's a lie that it would be to the loss of his own soul if he was astray. There is over 1.1 billion followers going astray with him. Sura 34:50 contradicts with logic on the responsibility of a prophet. The unknown spirit told Muhammad that it was the loss of his own soul if he was misguided to believe otherwise, and not in Jesus as a Savior. | 29:12 And the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Follow our path, and we will bear (the consequences) of your faults." Never in the least will they bear their faults: in fact they are liars! (Yusuf Ali) 16:25 Let them bear, on the Day of Judgment, their own burdens in full, and also (something) of the burdens of those without knowledge, whom they misled. Alas, how grievous the burdens they will bear! (Yusuf Ali) Comments: According to Angel Gabriel, Lord Jesus shall save believers from their sins. (Matthew 1:21). |
Discrepancy#2.1 Whose soul will be lost in hell-fire if follow a false prophet?
Prophet Only | Prophet & his followers |
---|---|
34:50 Say: "If I am astray, I only stray to the loss of my own soul: but if I receive guidance, it is because of the inspiration of my Lord to me: it is He Who hears all things, and is (ever) near." (Yusuf Ali) Comments: The unknown spirit told Muhammad that it was the loss of his own soul if was astray. Any intelligent man will understand it refers to the teachings of Islam. If the teachings was astray from the truth, whose soul will be lost? If he was misguided, he and his followers would be burnt for eternity in the lake of fire together with jinns. | Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet doing signs before it, (by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast), and those who had worshiped his image. The two were thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone. (MKJV) Comments: Even though the followers of the false prophet may be ignorance, they still suffer the consequence of misguidance. So it is one's responsibility to seek for the truth and not follow the faith blindly. |
Discrepancy#3 Is there abrogation of revelation in the Quran?
No, the Quran is perfect and can never be abrogated. | Yes, some verses have been abrogated. |
---|---|
- 6:115 Perfected is the Word of thy Lord in truth and justice. There is naught that can change His words.
- 10:64 There is no changing the Words of Allah.
- 18:27 And recite that which hath been revealed unto thee of the Scripture of thy Lord. There is none who can change His words.
|
Discrepancy#5.1 Is Allah Merciful to Mankind? | |
Yes | No |
---|---|
|
|
- Comments: If Allah made no distinction between ANY of His Messengers, then why Jesus was exclusively supported with the Holy Spirit?
The contention is not by the will of God, He gave the Holy Spirit to whomever He will. But is there clear distinction between other prophets and Jesus?
Discrepancy#7.1 Did one of Noah's sons die in the flood? | |
Yes | Torah: No |
---|---|
Reference http://answering-islam.org.uk/Quran/Contra/qe006.html | Genesis 7:7 And Noah went in. And his sons and his wife and his sons' wives went in with him into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Genesis 7:13 In this same day, Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, entered into the ark. Based on the Torah, all 8 of them were saved from the great flood. None of them perished. |
Discrepancy#7.2 Did one of Noah's sons die in the flood?
Yes | Torah: No |
---|---|
11:43 (Noah) said: This day there is none that saveth from the commandment of Allah save him on whom He hath had mercy. And the wave came in between them, so he was among the drowned. 11:46 (Allah) He said: O Noah! Lo! he is not of thy household; lo! he is of evil conduct, so ask not of Me that whereof thou hast no knowledge. I admonish thee lest thou be among the ignorant. Comments: Whatever sins committed by Noah's son such as of evil conduct, he was still a son of his father whom the father called "O my son" in Sura 11:42. | Genesis 7:7 And Noah went in. Comments: Based on the Torah, all 8 of them were saved from the great flood. None of them perished. Apparently the unknown spirit who appeared to Muhammad contradicts with the earlier revelation in the Torah. |
Discrepancy#10 Who was a disbeliever in the family of Noah?
Noah's Wife | One of the Sons |
---|---|
66:10 Allah citeth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot, who were under two of Our righteous slaves yet betrayed them so that they (the husbands) availed them naught against Allah and it was said (unto them): Enter the Fire along with those who enter. Genesis 7:13 Comments: The unknown spirit is not Gabriel because he contradicts with the Torah. | 11:42-43 Noah cried unto his son and he was standing aloof - O my son! Come ride with us, and be not with the disbelievers. He said: I shall betake me to some mountain that will save me from the water. (Noah) said: This day there is none that saveth from the commandment of Allah save him on whom He hath had mercy. And the wave came in between them, so he was among the drowned. Comments: Lot's wife disobeyed and changed to a pillar of salt (Gen 19:26). However Noah's wife & his 3 sons survived in the great flood. Genesis 8:18 "And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him" |
Discrepancy#12 Who revealed the Quran to Muhammad?
Holy Spirit | Gabriel |
---|---|
Acts 15:8 And God, who knows the hearts, bore them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit even as to us. Comments: The Holy Spirit confirms the faith of the believers. As Quran (Sura 3:3) talks about confirming the Gospel, then it is only rational that the works of the Holy Spirit concur with that stated in the Gospel. |
Luke 1:19 And answering, the angel said to him, I am Gabriel, who stands before God. And I am sent to speak to you and to show you these glad tidings. Comments: The Gospel mentions about Gabriel came to announce the good news to Zechariah, Mary & Joseph; not a book!. In O.T. Gabriel gave skill and understanding to Daniel on the vision; not a book! |
Discrepancy#12.1 Who revealed the Quran to Muhammad?
Holy Spirit | Gabriel |
---|---|
Comments: As the Holy Spirit produces the Son of God, He is the Spirit of God. If Holy Spirit was Gabriel, then baby Jesus would be called the Son of Gabriel and not the Son of God. The Holy Spirit is precisely God. The Gospel never teaches that the Holy Spirit will manifest as an angel nor as a man. |
Luke 1:19 And answering, the angel said to him, I am Gabriel, who stands before God. And I am sent to speak to you and to show you these glad tidings. Comments: As Quran (Sura 3:3) talks about confirming the Gospel, Sura 2:97 is obviously contradicting with the Gospel and is inconsistent with the Gospel. Gabriel never deliver a book or reveal scripture! |
Discrepancy#12.2 Who revealed the Quran to Muhammad?
Holy Spirit | Gabriel |
---|---|
Comments: As "Our Spirit" in Sura 19:17 is Gabriel, then "Our Spirit" in Sura 66:12 is also Gabriel. So God breathed into the holy body of Mary something of Gabriel? It's illogical! |
Comments: The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God without bodily form while Gabriel is a spirit who can manifest himself in a bodily form as a perfect man. Holy Spirit has personality as He speaks through holy prophets or believers; for example, blasphemy against him is an eternal sin. Angel does not has power to strengthen Jesus so that he can speak in his cradle. Angel cannot overshadow virgin Mary for conception of a holy child. |
Discrepancy#13 Is Angel Gabriel also known as the Holy Spirit ?
No, Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God | Yes, Holy Spirit is Gabriel |
---|---|
Luke 1:35 And the angel (Gabriel) answered and said unto her, "The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called "the Son of God". (KJV) |
Comments: These are obviously 2 persons namely Gabriel and the Holy Spirit because the former one is "revealed" while the latter is "delivered" but Muslims said they are one. |
Discrepancy#13.1 Is the Holy Spirit also known as the Angel?
No, Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God | Yes, Holy Spirit is an Angel |
---|---|
Comments: Gabriel never indwells to strengthen the faith of God's people. From the above verses, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and it makes no sense to be Gabriel. |
Comments: Angel is a spirit being who can transform himself to a perfect man. But angel Gabriel never says the Holy Spirit will do likewise even though He is able. |
Discrepancy#13.2 Is the Holy Spirit also known as the Angel?
No, Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God | Yes, Holy Spirit is an Angel |
---|---|
Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, "The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called "the Son of God". |
Comments: The Holy Spirit is indwelling all believers with different measure. Gabriel never say he himself is the Holy Spirit; it's disbelievers mere saying. |
Discrepancy#13.3 Will the Holy Spirit manifest in bodily form?
Yes, Holy Spirit manifests as Gabriel | The Gospel: No, never mentioned |
---|---|
Comments: The above 2 verses are obvious proof of internal contradiction in Quran. There is no single statement therein to connect that the Holy Spirit is angel Gabriel. | Luke 1:42 and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spake out with a loud voice... John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (KJV) Comments: The Holy Spirit always exist without bodily form and fill the holy prophets to speak through them whereas Gabriel is a spirit being who can manifest in bodily form to speak directly to people. |
Discrepancy#14 Did the spirit and Gabriel have anything in common?
Quran: Jesus is not the Son of God | Gospel: Jesus is the Son of God |
---|---|
The angel who appeared to Muhammad saying to him:" ...and the Christians say: "The Messiah is the son of Allah". That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved (literally infidels) of old. Allah (Himself) fighteth against them. How perverse are they" (Quran 9:30) Comments: The unknown spirit who appeared to Muhammad said that this is the saying of the disbelievers, and declares that Allah Himself fights against the Christians. It is impossible that Gabriel could contradict himself in such an important message! | Angel Gabriel said to Mary: "... You shall conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call His name JESUS. He shall be great and shall be called the Son of the Highest. And the Lord God shall give Him the throne of His father David." (Luke 1:30-32) "The Holy Spirit shall come on you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you. Therefore also that Holy One which will be born of you shall be called the Son of God" (Luke 1:35 MKJV) Comments: 600 years before Muhammad, Gabriel had announced "Jesus is the Son of God". The declaration is not merely from the lips of Christians. |
Discrepancy#15 Who is the Trinity?
Quran: Allah, Mary & Jesus are 3 gods | The Gospel: Father, Son & Holy Spirit |
---|---|
5:116 Pickthal : And when Allah saith: O Jesus, son of Mary! Didst thou say unto mankind: Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah ? 5:116 Shakir : And when Allah will say: O Isa son of Marium! did you say to men, Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah? | Matthew 28:19 [Jesus says] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost John 14:26 [Jesus says] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost [1], whom the Father [2] will send in my name [3], he [singular] shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. |
Comments: It is 100% a false revelation from an unknown spirit for Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, EVEN AS He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." and for other similar verses in Quran 2:41; 5:46, 5:48, 6:92 & 35:31. In fact, Quran is contradicting with the Gospel and not confirming it. The contradiction in the Quran is obvious that it is not from Gabriel nor from Allah (Sura 4:82). It's impossible for angel Gabriel to contradict with the words of Jesus His Lord.
Comments: It is a false revelation in Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." In fact, Quran is contradicting with the Gospel and not confirming it. The contradiction in the Quran is too obvious that it is not from Gabriel nor from Allah (Sura 4:82).
Sura 10:94 And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers.
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Sura 5:46 And We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps, CONFIRMING that which was (revealed) before him, and We bestowed on him the Gospel wherein is guidance and a light, CONFIRMING that which was (revealed) before it in the Torah a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil).
Discrepancy#17.1 Is Quran the Book of Final Authority? | |
Yes | No |
---|---|
2:106 Shakir Whatever communications We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring one better than it or like it. Do you not know that Allah has power over all things? Comments: Quran claimed to be substituting the earlier revelation but it did not say abrogating the Torah nor the Gospel. The internal contradiction in the Quran is too obvious that it is not from Gabriel nor from Allah (Sura 4:82).The unknown angel was not from God. | Firstly, Quran says it is for confirming the earlier revelations in the Torah and the Gospel but did not say it is replacing nor correcting the Gospel. Secondly, Allah command Muhammad to ask the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) when he was in doubt. Sura 10:94 proves that Bible is the Book of Final Authority Thirdly, Quran is merely a single Book written between 610AD and 632AD with a span of less than 23 years whereas the Holy Bible is a collection of 66 Books written between 1410BC and 95AD with a span of 1,500 years! |
Discrepancy#18 Was Jesus crucified ?
No, not crucified | Yes, crucified |
---|---|
Comments: Quran does not contradict itself if these words are spoken by disbelievers and not by Allah: "they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain. But Allah took him up unto Himself." All prophets before Muhammad have passed away or died (3:144) if Jesus did not die at all, then Surah 3:144 is contradicting with Surah 4:157-159. Surah 3:183 says "Why then did ye slay them if ye are truthful?" If Jesus was killed, then Surah 2:87 is contradicting with it because the same verse says "Jesus" and then some of you disbelieve and some of you kill him (it is referring to Jesus alone in the verse). | Sura 4:171 (Yusuf Ali) O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His apostles....4:159 [Yusuf Ali] And there is NONE of the People of the Book (Followers of Jesus) but must believe in him (Jesus) before His DEATH; and on the Day of Judgment, He will be a witness against them. 2:87 And We gave unto Jesus, son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Holy Spirit is it ever so, that, when there cometh unto you a Messenger with that which ye yourselves desire not, ye grow arrogant, and some ye disbelieve and some ye slay? 3:183 Say : Messengers came unto you before me with miracles, and with that (very miracle) which ye describe. Why then did ye slay them if ye are truthful? 3:144 Muhammad is but a messenger, Messengers (the like of whom) have passed away before him. |
Discrepancy#18.1 Was Jesus crucified ? | |
Quran: No, not crucified but raised | The Gospel: Yes, crucified & raised |
---|---|
| Eyewitness 1 - Matthew 28:5-6 And the angel answered and said unto the women, "Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." Eyewitness 2 - John 19:18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. |
Discrepancy#18.2 Was Jesus crucified ? | |
Quran: No, not crucified but raised | The Gospel: Yes, crucified & raised |
---|---|
| Matthew 28:5-6,8 And the angel answered and said unto the women, "Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." And they departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy Comments: Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." is obviously in question. The contradiction in the Quran is too obvious that it is not from Gabriel nor from Allah (Sura 4:82). |
Discrepancy#19 Was Jesus killed before old age?
Yes | No |
---|---|
3:183 Say : Messengers came unto you before me with miracles, and with that (very miracle) which ye describe. Why then did ye slay them if ye are truthful? 3:144 Muhammad is but a messenger, messengers (the like of whom) have passed away before him. 2:87 And We gave unto Jesus, son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Holy Spirit is it ever so, that, when there cometh unto you a Messenger with that which ye yourselves desire not, ye grow arrogant, and some ye disbelieve and some ye slay (him)? | 4:157-158 And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger - they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them.... But Allah took him up unto Himself. Allah was ever Mighty, Wise. 5:110 (Shakir) Remember My favor on you and on your mother, when I strengthened you I with the holy Spirit, you spoke to the people in the cradle and when of old age, and when I taught you the Book and the wisdom and the Taurat and the Injeel Comments: Historical death of Jesus at the age of about 33 years, is not old age by any standard? |

Discrepancy#21.1 Is Muhammad the prophet of Allah?
Yes | No |
---|---|
33:40 Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets; and Allah is Aware of all things. Daniel 9:21-22 yes, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, touched me in my severe exhaustion, about the time of the evening sacrifice. And he enlightened me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I have now come out to give you skill and understanding. Comments: Angel Gabriel is a Perfect Teacher. Why need to ask other people? | 10:94 And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers. 2:23 And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful. Comments: A prophet is a free spokesperson for God and not a slave. Why would a prophet in doubt ask those who read Scripture and not seek God directly for assurance? |
Discrepancy#23 Is Muhammad greater than angel?
Yes, even God pray for him | No, only a messenger |
---|---|
33:56 (Pickthal) Lo! Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation. 33:56 (Palmer) "Verily, God and His angels pray for the prophet. O ye who believe! pray for him and salute him with a salutation!. Comments: God and His angels do not pray for man but for Muhammad who must be greater than God! The Arabic word used in 33:56 is "yusalloo" which means pray. But other Quran translators except Palmer, intentionally translate "yusalloo" as "bless". | 7:158 Say (O Muhammad): O mankind! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah to you all 2:23 And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a sura or the like thereof, and call your witnesses beside Allah if ye are truthful. 3:144 Muhammad is but a messenger, messengers (the like of whom) have passed away before him. Will it be that, when he dieth or is slain, ye will turn back on your heels? He who turneth back doth no hurt to Allah, and Allah will reward the thankful. |

Discrepancy#25 Is Jesus called the "Son of Mary" or "the Son of God"?
Quran: Son of Mary | The Gospel: The Son of God |

|
Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass |
Discrepancy#25.1 Is Jesus called the "Son of Mary" or "the Son of God"?
Quran: Son of Mary | The Gospel: The Son of God |
---|---|
Comments: There is no truth in Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." In fact, Quran is contradicting with the Gospel and not confirming it. So these verses Quran 2:41; 5:46, 5:48, 6:92 & 35:31 on "confirming" are seriously not in conformity with the truth. This cannot be from Gabriel who told Mary about "the Son of God". |
Comments: If it was Gabriel who appeared to Muhammad, he cannot contradict his earlier declaration to Mary to call Jesus "the Son of God" and then told Muhammad, Jesus was "Son of Mary". It does not reconcile at all! The obvious truth is the Holy Spirit is the power of the highest producing "the Son of God". |
Discrepancy#26 Will all Muslims enter Hell?
No | Yes |
---|---|
57:19 And those who believe in Allah and His messengers, they are the loyal; and the Martyrs are with their Lord; they have their reward and their light; while as for those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, they are owners of hell fire. Interpretation: Martyrs are with Allah either directly or indirectly after going through hell-fire. There is no word "direct access" in the verse. | According to Sura 19:71 every Muslim will go to Hell for an indefinite time. 19:71 "There is not one of you BUT shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord". 19:72 "Then We shall RESCUE those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there". 3:185 "Every soul will taste of death. ... Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter Paradise, he indeed is triumphant." Comments: Those who are saved far from Hell-fire or those removed from Fire, will be made to enter Paradise. By analogy, when the Book is removed from the Book-shelf and sent to the Study Room, the book is originally at the Book-shelf. Similarly those removed from hell-fire are already crouching in Hell for an indefinite period of time. Surah 19:72 says RESCUE those who kept from evil was in the context of Surah 19:68 of those sent to Hell together with the devils. |
Discrepancy#26.1 Will all Muslims enter Hell?
No | Yes |
---|---|
57:19 And those who believe in Allah and His messengers, they are the loyal; and the Martyrs are with their Lord; they have their reward and their light; while as for those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, they are owners of hell fire. Comments: The verse is unclear about direct entry to Paradise but Muslims profess that martyrs in Jihad will enter Paradise directly even though it contradicts with Sura 19:71 and Sura 3:185. | 19:72 "Then We shall RESCUE those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there". 3:185 "Every soul will taste of death. ... Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter Paradise, he indeed is triumphant." Interpretation: Muslims cannot be removed from hell fire unless they have entered it. And that is a decree from Allah which no man can change it. There will be no need for RESCUE if Muslims believed there is an imaginary "bridge" to cross over from Hell to Paradise. |
Discrepancy#27 Will Muslims be burnt in hell-fire?
No | Yes |

4:57 And as for those who believe and do good works, We shall make them enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow - to dwell therein for ever; there for them are pure companions - and We shall make them enter plenteous shade 7:8-9 The weighing on that day is the true (weighing). As for those whose scale is heavy, they are the successful. And as for those whose scale is light: those are they who lose their souls because they used to wrong our revelations.
| 4:55 And of them were (some) who believed (Muslims) therein and of them were (some) who turned away from it. Hell is sufficient for (their) burning. Comments: How could one be removed from hell-fire, unless one has first entered it and then wait for the rescue. |
Discrepancy#27.1 Will Muslims be burnt in hell-fire?
No | Yes |
---|---|
2:82 And those who believe and do good works: such are rightful owners of the Garden. They will abide therein. Comments: By virtue of Sura 3:3 He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, CONFIRMING that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel, the Gospel is the earlier revelations. | 4:56 Lo! Those who disbelieve Our revelations, We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment.
The Gospel: John 3:18 He that believeth on him (Jesus) is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Comments: Muslims disbelieve the earlier revelation in the Gospel that Jesus is the Son of God. By believing he is not the only-begotten Son of God, one will be condemned with disbelievers to hell. |
Discrepancy#28 Will Jesus be burnt in Hell?
No | Yes |

Jesus is raised to Allah, [Sura 4:158], near stationed with him [Sura 3:45], worshiped by millions of Christians around the world 3:45 When the angels said: O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a word from Him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, illustrious in the world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (unto Allah). | Sura 21:98 says, that all that are worshiped by men besides Allah will burn in Hell together with those who worship them. 21:98 Lo! ye (idolaters) and that which ye worship beside Allah are fuel of hell. Thereunto ye will come. 21:99-100 If these had been Gods they would not have come thither, but all wilt abide therein. Therein wailing is their portion, and therein they hear not. |
Discrepancy#29 Did Christians say "God is the Messiah"?
Allah is the Messiah | Jesus is the Messiah |
---|---|
5:14,17 And with those who say "Lo! We are Christians..." They indeed have disbelieved who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, Son of Mary. 5:72 They surely disbelieve who say : Lo! Allah is the Messiah, Son of Mary.
Comments: "God is the Messiah" is obviously a false statement never come from the lips of Christians. It was from the unknown spirit and not from all-knowing God nor from angel Gabriel. | 4:157 And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah Jesus Son of Mary, Allah's messenger John 1:41-42 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. And he brought him to Jesus... Comments: Christians profess Lord Jesus is the Messiah - the Christ. The Anointed Savior of the world |
Discrepancy#30 Did Christians say "God" or "the Son of God" is the Messiah?
Allah is the Messiah | The Son of Allah is the Messiah |
---|---|
5:14,17 And with those who say "Lo! We are Christians..." They indeed have disbelieved who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, Son of Mary. 5:72 They surely disbelieve who say : Lo! Allah is the Messiah, Son of Mary. Comments: In John 4:24, God is a Spirit. (KJV) But reversing the sentence, "A Spirit is God" is generally a false statement. Angel is also spirit but not a God. "God is the Messiah" is obviously a false statement never come from the lips of Christians. No Christian theology from any early churches say that God is the Messiah, not in the Gospel as well. | 9:30 And the Jews say:. Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God Comments: Christians commonly profess that Jesus is the Messiah and Jesus is the Son of God. The Son of God is the Messiah but never confessed by Christians that "God is the Messiah". |
Discrepancy#31 Can slandering chaste women be forgiven?
No | Yes |
---|---|
24:23 Lo! as for those who traduce virtuous, believing women care-less, cursed are they in the world and the Hereafter. Theirs will be an awful doom 24:24-25 On the day when their tongues and their hands and their feet testify against them as to what they used to do, on that day Allah will pay them their just due, and they will know that Allah, He is the Manifest Truth. Comments: How could the message changes from all "forgiving" to "awful doom" in the same passage? | 24:4 And those who accuse honorable women but bring not four witnesses, scourge them (with) eighty stripes and never (afterward) accept their testimony. They indeed are evildoers. 24:5 Save those who afterward repent and make amends. (For such) lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Obviously it is not from Gabriel without any hesitation. Sura 4:82 Do they not then meditate on the Quran? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a discrepancy.
Discrepancy#32 How long was Zacharias dumb after encountering Gabriel?
Quran: 3 Nights | The Gospel: About 9 Months |
---|---|
19:7-9 (It was said unto him): O Zachariah! Lo! We bring thee tidings of a son whose name is John; We have given the same name to none before (him). He said: My Lord! How can I have a son when my wife is barren and I have reached infirm old age? He said: So (it will be). Thy Lord saith: It is easy for Me, even as I created thee before, when thou wast naught. 19:10 He said: My Lord! Appoint for me some token. He said: Thy token is that thou, with no bodily defect, shalt not speak unto mankind three nights. |
Comments: Sura 3:3 is a false revelation because Quran contradicts with the Gospel and not confirming it
Luke 1:19-20 I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to show thee these glad tidings. And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. Luke 1:59 And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father. Luke 1:63-64 And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marveled all. And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God. |
Discrepancy#33 Who adopt Moses as the son in Egypt?
Quran: Pharaoh's wife | Torah: Pharaoh's daughter |
---|---|
28:9 And the wife of Pharaoh said: (He will be) a consolation for me and for thee. Kill him not. Peradventure he may be of use to us, or we may choose him for a son. And they perceived not. 28:10 And the heart of the mother of Moses became void, and she would have betrayed him if We had not fortified her heart, that she might be of the believers. Comments: The unknown spirit revealed a false Sura 3:3. In fact, Quran is contradicting bluntly with the Torah and not confirming it. This is inconceivable to be from Gabriel. | Exodus 2:9-10 And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it. And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water. Comments: If Moses was adopted by Pharaoh's wife, he would have been adopted by Pharaoh himself. The unknown spirit contradicts with the earlier revelation in the Torah. |
Discrepancy#34 Did Moses' staff become a serpent and return to staff ?
Quran: No | Torah: Yes |
---|---|
28:31 Throw down thy staff. And when he saw it writhing as it had been a demon, he turned to flee headlong, (and it was said unto him): O Moses! Draw nigh and fear not. Lo! thou art of those who are secure. (Serious missing account; no tale on the reversing back to the staff) 28:32 Thrust thy hand into the bosom of thy robe, it will come forth white without hurt. And guard thy heart from fear. (Serious missing account; no tale on the reversing back to normal flesh) Then these shall be two proofs from your Lord unto Pharaoh and his chiefs: Lo! they are evil living folk. | Exodus 4:3-4 ... Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand: Exodus 4:6-7 And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow. And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh. |
Discrepancy#34.1 Did Moses' hand turn white and return to normal ?
Quran: No | Torah: Yes |
---|---|
28:32 Thrust thy hand into the bosom of thy robe, it will come forth white without hurt. And guard thy heart from fear. (Serious missing account; no tale on the reversing back to normal flesh) Then these shall be two proofs from your Lord unto Pharaoh and his chiefs: Lo! they are evil living folk. Comments: How could Moses perform the miracle before Pharaoh when his staff remained as demon, and his hand remained white? Pharaoh would say Moses brought along a demon, had a leprosy and nothing of a sign. There is serious contradiction in Sura 3:3 whereby it is contradicting and not confirming the Torah. | Exodus 4:6-7 And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow. And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh. Exodus 4:9 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land Comments: It was not angel Gabriel as he cannot contradict himself. |
Discrepancy#35 Did Moses' staff turn to a demon or serpent?
Demon | Serpent |
---|---|
28:31 Throw down thy staff. And when he saw it writhing as it had been a demon, he turned to flee headlong, (and it was said unto him): O Moses! Draw nigh and fear not. Lo! thou art of those who are secure. ( Pickthal) Comments: It is proven that there is internal contradiction in Quran. A demon is definitely different from a serpent. Likewise a pen is different from a pencil. The word serpent is literal in meaning. It makes no sense for "demon" to be figuratively for a serpent. | 20:18-20 He said: This is my staff whereon I lean, and wherewith I bear down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses. He said: Cast it down, O Moses! So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent, gliding. 7:107-108 Then he flung down his staff and lo! it was a serpent manifest; And he drew forth his hand (from his bosom), and lo! it was white for the beholders.Exodus 4:3 And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. |
Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." As a matter of fact, Quran is contradicting with the Torah and the Gospel and not confirming it. So these verses Quran 2:41; 5:46, 5:48, 6:92 & 35:31 on "confirming" are seriously not in conformity with the truth.
Discrepancy#36 Did Muhammad know which lords he was referred to?
Yes | No |
---|---|
Comments: Muslims say that "thy Lord" is Allah. So the spirit is the messenger from Allah. But the God of Abraham, God of Jacob and God of Isaac did not create man from a blood clot. The spirit cannot be angel Gabriel as he is contradicting with the Torah. Allah is not the God of the Jews who called their God as "Jehovah" or "Yahweh". Satan is the lord of this world. 2Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. | According to Karen Armstrong (Muhammad: A Biography of the Prophet, October 1993, pp. 61-62), at the time of Muhammad, the Ka'abah was officially dedicated to the god Hubal, a deity who had been imported into Arabia from the Nabateans. There were 360 idols housed at Ka'abah; 3 daughters of Allah known by name: Al Lat, Al Uzza and Al Manat (Quran 53:19-20) and 5 lords by name Wadd, Suwa', Yaghuth, Ya'uq, & Nasr (Quran 71:23). Hubal was the Lord of Ka'abah, chiefly worshipped as the Allah by the Meccans and Muhammad's parents. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaaba Obviously he did not know exactly which lords, the spirit was referring to. Tradition tells that Muhammad's wife Khadija went to consult His uncle Waraqa as who appeared to him. |
Discrepancy#36.1 Did Muhammad know the lord's name he was referred to?
Yes | No |
---|---|
Muhammad's father and grandfather worship Allah at Ka'abah for several generations. However, traditionally, the Ishmaelites and his mother Hagarites do not worship the God of the Jews but are pagan Arabian. Psalms 83:4-8 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, so that the name Israel may be remembered no more. For with one heart they have plotted together; they have made a covenant against You-- the tents of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarites; Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the people of Tyre; and Assyria has joined with them; they have helped the sons of Lot. Selah. | There is no single declaration in the Quran that "Fear not, Muhammad. I am angel Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God." It's a historical fact that Muhammad's grandfather worship Hubal the idol from Moab, as the Allah. But "Allah" is just a title for supreme God and not a name. Hubal in Arabic, also known as Ba'al (S 37:125-126), an idol with golden arm at Ka'abah, well recognized by Meccans and Muhammad's Quraysh tribe as the Lord, the supreme god before 610AD. But he also destroyed the Hubal idol at Ka'abah after he conquered Mecca. So who was "thy Lord" before Hubal was destroyed, when the first 2 verses were revealed (Sura 96:1-2)? |
Discrepancy#36.2 Did Muhammad know the lord's name he was referred to?
Yes | No |
---|---|
Muhammad's father and grandfather worship Allah at Ka'abah for several generations. Hubal is also known as Baal, was the Lord, chief god of the Meccans and of Ka'abah. But Hubal idol was destroyed by Muhammad after he conquered Mecca. However he preserved the meteorite Black Stone which was thought to fall from heavens, with cosmic forces. Muhammad had his own perception of Allah which was likely influenced by the Jews and the Christians. | Allah means "the god, the supreme". The perception of Muhammad's father Abdullah of Hubal was the Allah. But Muhammad destroyed the idol of Hubal at Ka'abah. Then he introduced Allah who created man from a clot. It is impossible that he could determine which lords merely from "thy Lord" in S 96:1 unless external assistance was sought for. Muhammad did not read scripture before it so it is unlikely he knew which lords. 29:48 And thou (O Muhammad) wast not a reader of any scripture before it, nor didst thou write it with thy right hand, for then might those have doubted, who follow falsehood. |
Discrepancy#36.3 Did the unknown spirit identify himself to Muhammad?
Yes | No |
---|---|
Comments: Pre-Islamic Arabian believe Allah has 3 daughters stated in Sura 53:19-20 "Have ye thought upon Al Lat and Al Uzza And Al Manat, the Third, the other?" Muhammad came to command the pre-Islamic Arabian to worship one God and destroyed all other idols except the meteorite Black Stone in Ka'abah. But could a true God be created by "purification" of Ka'abah and removal of Allah's daughters? | Comments: There is no account from Islamic tradition that the unknown spirit ever identified himself to Muhammad. Instead the spirit squeezed him 3 times with greater force each time. It compelled him against his will to recite. Muhammad was so fearful and confused about the visitation by the unknown spirit. So his wife brought him to consult her cousin Waraqa bin Naufa, a Christian convert who often read the Gospels in Arabic. The spirit is absolutely not angel Gabriel which was mistaken by Waraqa. He was old and had lost his eye-sight; he died a few days later. |
Discrepancy#37 Did angel help to overcome the fear?
Hadith: No | The Gospel: Yes |
---|---|
The first known verses from the unknown spirit is Surah 96:1-2 when Muhammad related that he was compelled to recite "Read" and forcefully squeezed him 3 times to near death. What or how to read if Muhammad was illiterate? After Muhammad 's first encounter with the unknown angel at Hira cave, he fled with great fear and distress:Then the Prophet returned therewith, HIS HEART WAS TREMBLING, and he went to Khadija and said: WRAP ME UP, WRAP ME UP! So they wrapped him TILL THE FEAR HAD LEFT HIM. He then said to Khadija: O Khadija! What has happened to me? And he informed her of the happening, saying: I FEAR FOR MYSELF. (Sahih Muslim, Book 001, Number 0301) | Daniel 9:21-22 Yea, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, "O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding." Luke 1:12-13 And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. But the angel said unto him, "Fear not, Zacharias ..." Luke 1:19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God |
Discrepancy#37.1 Did angel help to overcome the fear?
Hadith: No | The Gospel: Yes |

She replied: It can't be. Be happy. I swear by Allah that He shall never humiliate you. By Allah, you join ties of relationship, you speak the truth, you bear people's burden, you help the destitute, you entertain guests, and you help against the vicissitudes which affect people… (Sahih Muslim, Book 001, Number 0301) Comments: What a great contrast! Instead of the angel or spirit comforting him, Muhammad's wife have to become an angel to calm him down and assure him that Allah shall never humiliate him. | Luke 1:26-27 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God ..to the virgin's name Mary. Luke 1:29-30 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, ... And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. Comments: She feared the awesome presence of the angel and not from physical torture. She did not go to the extent of wrapping herself under the blanket! |
Discrepancy#38 Did Gabriel reveal the Torah and the Gospel?
Quran: Yes | Bible: No |
---|---|
Comments: Quran was allegedly revealed to Muhammad's heart and he was instructed to recite or say but not to write it down. Then how could there be a written Quran? Is it not against Allah's command to produce a written Quran? | 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. 2Pet 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Comments: The Jewish Torah and the Gospel are given by inspiration of God. These writings were copied and recopied through many centuries. Copyist errors may come along the way but the doctrine is unchanged. |
Discrepancy#38.1 Did Gabriel reveal the Torah and the Gospel?
Quran: Yes | Bible: No |
---|---|
Comments: The discrepancies are too many to accord the revelation as from angel Gabriel. All of the angel Gabriel's messages came to pass. Messages to Zechariah about the birth of John the Baptist and to Virgin Mary about the birth of Lord Jesus were fulfilled accordingly. But this unknown angel is far from revealing the truth. | 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Comments: The Holy Bible is flawless and the perfect word of God. Discrepancy#39 Moses married a woman from family of how many daughters?
Quran: 2 daughters | Torah: 7 daughters |
---|---|
28:22 And when he turned his face toward Midian, he said: Peradventure my Lord will guide me in the right road. 28:27 He said: Lo! I fain would marry thee to one of these two daughters of mine on condition that thou hirest thyself to me for (the term of) eight pilgrimages. Then if thou completest ten it will be of thine own accord, for I would not make it hard for thee. Allah willing, thou wilt find me of the righteous. Comments: The unknown angel who appeared to Muhammad must be a liar when Quran 3:3, 2:41; 5:46, 5:48, 6:92 & 35:31 on "confirming" are seriously questionable. | Exodus 2:15 Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well. Exodus 2:16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father's flock. Exodus 2:18 And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon today? Exodus 2:21 And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter. |
When revealing Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." As a matter of fact, Quran is contradicting with the Torah and the Gospel and not confirming it. So these verses Quran 2:41; 5:46, 5:48, 6:92 & 35:31 on "confirming" are seriously not in conformity with the truth.
Discrepancy#40 Are all Muslims delivered from Hell-fire?
Most Muslims say: Yes | No |
---|---|
19:68 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them (all souls of the dead particularly muslims, as Quran is for muslims) and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 19:71 There is NOT ONE of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 3:185 Every soul will taste of death. ..."Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter Paradise he indeed is triumphant." Comments: Yet the triumphant are those removed from hell-fire and are made to enter Paradise: "Whoso is removed from the Fire...". Some Muslims say "them" are the disbelievers of the resurrection of the dead. Then how about the believers and are they not resurrected and judged together according to Jesus? Mat 25:31 [Jesus says] When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: Mat 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: | 19:72 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 3:192 Shakir : Our Lord! surely whomsoever Thou makest enter the fire, him Thou hast indeed brought to disgrace, and there shall be no helpers for the unjust Comments: Whosoever enter hell-fire, there shall be no helpers for the unjust to be removed from hell-fire. Then why Surah 19:72 says "Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, AND leave the evil-doers crouching there."? By analogy, when one leave the dead of the war victims there, and rescue the living injured people, where is the place located? At the war scene. So the rescue operation is located in Hell. The spirit of the dead do not remain on earth when he dies. If in Paradise, what to rescue? |
Discrepancy#41 Will Allah guide the truth for the Muslims?
Yes | No, no certainty only whom he will |
---|---|
10:35 Say: Is there of your partners (whom ye ascribe unto Allah) one that leadeth to the Truth ? Say: Allah leadeth to the Truth. Is He Who leadeth to the Truth more deserving that He should be followed, or he who findeth not the way unless he (himself) be guided. What aileth you ? How judge ye ?
| 14:4 And We never sent a messenger save with the language of his folk, that he might make (the message) clear for them. Then Allah sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will. He is the Mighty, the Wise. Comments: There is no assurance that Allah guide to the truth but only whom he will. |
Discrepancy#42 Did Jesus declare "I am the messenger of God"?
Quran: Yes | Torah: No |
---|---|
61:6 And when Jesus son of Mary said: O Children of Israel! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming that which was (revealed) before me in the Torah, and bringing good tidings of a messenger who cometh after me, whose name is the Praised One. Yet when he hath come unto them with clear proofs, they say: This is mere magic. Comments: The unknown angel who appeared to Muhammad was a liar, the father of lies. There is no truth in Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." | Jesus never declared "I am the prophet of God" instead he confessed "I am the Son of God" which confirmed the word of Gabriel. Mat 27:43 He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He'll have Him; for He said, ' I am the Son of God.' " Joh 10:36 do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'? Luk 1:35 "that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." |
Comments: Gabriel told Mary 600 years earlier that Jesus was the Son of God, and he cannot contradict himself by calling Jesus, Son of Mary or the messenger of God.
Discrepancy#43 Is Allah a singular or plural God?
We, more than One | One = I, Me |
---|---|
Sura 6:92 And this is a blessed Scripture which We have revealed, confirming that which (was revealed) before it Sura 35:31 As for that which We inspire in thee of the Scripture, it is the Truth confirming that which was (revealed) before it.
| Sura 2:40 O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I (singular) favoured you, and fulfil your (part of the) covenant, I shall fulfil My (part of the) covenant, and fear Me. 2:41 And believe in that which I reveal, confirming that which ye possess already (of the Scripture), and be not first to disbelieve therein, and part not with My revelations for a trifling price, and keep your duty unto Me. Comments: If "we" is an address or a form of respect, then why "I" is used in Sura 2:40 which is contradictory with Sura 6:92? |
Discrepancy#43.1 Is Allah a singular or plural God?
We, more than One | One: I, Me, My |
---|---|
19:17 And had chosen seclusion from them. Then We (plural) sent unto her Our (plural) Spirit and it assumed for her the likeness of a perfect man. 21:91 And she who was chaste, therefor We breathed into her (something) of Our Spirit and made her and her son a token for (all) peoples. 66:12 And Mary, daughter of 'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient. | Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years. Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, "I AM THAT I AM" Exodus 31:1-3 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, "See, I (singular and not we) have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: and I have filled him with the (Holy Spirit) Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship" |
Discrepancy#43.2 Is Allah a singular or plural God?
Quran: Plural | Torah & Gospel : Singular |
---|---|
66:12 And Mary, daughter of 'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient. Comments: Those saying Allah address himself as "we" for the manner of respect, are truly disbelievers. There is no consistency of what God told Moses and what the unknown angel told Muhammad. So there is no truth in Sura 3:3 about confirming the Torah and the Gospel." It is a lie! | Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, "I AM THAT I AM" Matthew 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles. Comments: God address Himself as "I am" as "I am that I am", and not "we are" both in the Torah and the Gospel. It was surely not angel Gabriel because God personally told Moses that He was that "I am that I am" (singular) and not "we" (plural) |
Discrepancy#44 Could the sun overtake the moon?
Quran: No | Bible : Yes |
---|---|
21:33 And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit. 36:40 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor doth the night outstrip the day. They float each in an orbit. Comments: "The Galaxy is so huge that the Sun requires 230 million years to complete one orbit around the Milky Way's center." (Croswell, Ken. The Alchemy of the Heavens Searching for the meaning of the Milky Way. New York: Doubleday, 1995: 2) | Amos 8:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day. Luke 23:44-46 And it was about the sixth hour (noon), and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour (3 pm). And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. |
Discrepancy#44.1 Could the sun overtake the moon?
Quran: No | Bible : Yes |
---|---|
36:40 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon...They float each in an orbit. Comments: In view of 230 million years for the sun to complete one orbit, it is merely a slight wobble in relation to the orbits of the earth & moon. Therefore, the Sun is assumed to be stationary and the planets revolve around its center. It's not a divine revelation for Sura 36:40 "They float each in an orbit"; it is taken to be the same orbit as the author elaborates that it is not for the Sun to overtake the moon. Even if it refers to 2 different orbits, could a stationary sun overtake the moon? | Luke 23:44-45 And it was about the sixth hour (noon), and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour (3 pm). And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. Comments: The Earth is orbiting around the Sun while the moon is orbiting around the Earth. They float each in their own orbits and not in a single orbit. It is proven wrong by the Jehovah God in Luke 23:44-46. The "sun has overtaken the moon" whenever solar eclipse occurs. It is a scientific fact that is when the Sun, Moon and Earth are aligned in a straight line, it forms a solar eclipse. |
Discrepancy#45 Did Allah make stars to be thrown at devils?
Quran: Yes | Torah: No |
---|---|
67:5 Yusuf Ali: And we have, adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire. 37:6-8 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; With security from every froward devil. They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side Comments: Devils are demonic spirits. How can physical objects hit spirit beings? Wrong scientific view. | Genesis 1:16-18 And God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day and the smaller light to rule the night, and the stars also. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night; and to divide between the light and the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
Comments: Stars are beautiful to behold at night. They give light and not as missiles to throw at devils. |

1 day | 7 days |
---|---|
54:18-20 (The tribe of) A'ad rejected warnings. Then how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings. Lo! We let loose on them a raging wind on a day of constant calamity, Sweeping men away as though they were uprooted trunks of palm-trees. | 69:6-7 And as for A'ad, they were destroyed by a fierce roaring wind, Which He imposed on them for seven long nights and eight long days so that thou mightest have seen men lying overthrown, as they were hollow trunks of palm- trees. (Also refer to 41:16) |

2:29 He it is Who created for you all that is in the earth. Then turned He to the heaven, and fashioned it as seven heavens. And He is knower of all things. | 79:27-31 Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? He raised the height thereof and ordered it; And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. And after that He spread the earth, And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof |
Discrepancy#49 Jinn and men created for worship or for Hell?
To worship God | To fill Hell |
---|---|
51:56 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me.
| 7:179 Already have We urged unto hell many of the jinn and humankind, having hearts wherewith they understand not, and having eyes wherewith they see not, and having ears wherewith they hear not. 11:119 And the Word of thy Lord hath been fulfilled: Verily I shall fill hell with the jinn and mankind together. |

---|---|
14:4 And We never sent a messenger save with the language of his folk, that he might make (the message) clear for them. 30:47 Verily We sent before thee (Muhammad) messengers to their own folk. Comments: If Muhammad was sent only his own folk, then Americans are not called to follow Islam. In order words, Islam is not a universal religion as it is for Arabs only (Sura 14:4) | Nineveh was the flourishing capital of the Assyrian empire, a Gentile nation and not a Jewish nation. Jonah 1:1-2 And the Word of Jehovah came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their evil has come up before Me. Jonah 1:9 And he said to them, I am a Hebrew; and I fear Jehovah, the God of heaven, who has made the sea and the dry land. |
Discrepancy#51 Was Jesus born under a palm tree?
Quran: Yes | Gospel: No |
---|---|
19:20 She said: How can I have a son when no mortal hath touched me, neither have I been unchaste ? 19:22 And she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place.19:23 And the pangs of childbirth drove her unto the trunk of the palm-tree. She said: Oh, would that I had died ere this and had become a thing of naught, forgotten! | Luke 2:5-6 And he took Mary his betrothed wife, being with child. And while they were there, the days for her deliverance were fulfilled. Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her son, the First-born, and wrapped Him, and laid Him in a manger-- because there was no room for them in the inn. (MKJV) Comments: So there is no truth in Sura 3:3 about confirming the Torah and the Gospel." It is a lie! |
Discrepancy#52 Did Muhammad know how to read Scripture before it?
No | Yes |
---|---|
29:48 And thou (O Muhammad) wast not a reader of any scripture before it, nor didst thou write it with thy right hand, for then might those have doubted, who follow falsehood. 7:157 Those who follow the messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel (which are) with them. | 96:3-5 Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous, Who teacheth by the pen, Teacheth man that which he knew not. Comments: Allah did teach Muhammad by the pen; on how to read and write. Did the unknown angel not instructing him to read and he follow after him? Nothing was written about him in the Gospel. |
Discrepancy#52.1 Did Muhammad know how to read Scripture before it?
No | Yes |
| According to the Islamic tradition, when Muhammad was either nine or twelve while accompanying his uncle Abu Talib in the Meccans' caravan to Syria, he met a Christian Monk or Hermit named Bahira who is said to have foreseen Muhammad as a prophet. He was under his discipleship for a period of time and likely read some of the scriptures. (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad) Comments: Allah did teach prophet by the pen; on how to read and write. |
Discrepancy#53 Was Muhammad described in the Torah and the Gospel?
Quran: Yes | The Gospel: No |
---|---|
7:157 Those who follow the messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel (which are) with them. Comments: Nothing was ever described in the Gospel as a prophet who can neither read nor write. All prophets of old wrote the scripture themselves except Jesus. Jesus is more than a prophet as He did not have to write about himself but let His disciples to write about Him based on their eye-witnesses and following Him around for over 3 years. | John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (KJV) Comments: Muslims often quote John 14:26 as the fulfillment of Sura 7:157. Far from the truth! The Comforter is the Holy Spirit who teaches all things and bringing to remembrance of things taught by Jesus not of another prophet. Furthermore, "the Comforter & the Holy Spirit" are referred to as "he" which is singular. |
Discrepancy#53.1 Was Muhammad described in the Torah and the Gospel?
Quran: Yes | Torah & Gospel: No |
Comments: Both the Comforter and the Spirit of truth are the Holy Spirit; not a man nor an angel | John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. Comments: The Holy Spirit has a personality, he can speak but need the body of the believer as the mouth piece. He is the Spirit of God. |
Discrepancy#54 Are there beautiful virgins (Houris) for marriage in Paradise?
Quran: Yes | Gospel: No |
---|---|
55:72-74 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions -Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 44:52-54 Amid gardens and watersprings, Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. Comments: There is no truth about confirming the Gospel in Sura 3:3. The contradiction in the Quran is too obvious that it is not from Gabriel nor from Allah (Sura 4:82). | Matthew 22:30 [Jesus says] "For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven." Comments: The Lord Jesus teaches that there is no marriage in the resurrection but all are like angels of God in heaven. In other words, there is no sexual relationship in Paradise. While the unknown spirit has the false doctrine of marriage with houris! Angel Gabriel will not contradict with the words of Lord Jesus who came down from heaven and has angels under His command. |
Discrepancy#55 Can Jesus save people from their sins?
Quran: No | Gospel: Yes |
---|---|
Salvation is by doing Good Works & Believe in Allah & All His Messengers 18:107 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs are the Gardens of Paradise for welcome 57:19 And those who believe in Allah and His messengers (plural), they are the loyal, and the martyrs are with their Lord; they have their reward and their light; while as for those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, they are owners of hell-fire. Comments: If Muslims do not believe all the revelations given to messenger Jesus, then they failed to live the life to the standard of God and are counted as owners of Hell-fire. But most Muslims say the Gospel is corrupted, so how many Muslims can truly believe in what Jesus preached and escape Hell-fire? | Salvation is by faith in one God YHWH & His Son Jesus Christ who shed His precious Blood as atonement for the sins of the world Luke 1:26-27 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to... the virgin's name was Mary. Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. |
Discrepancy#55.1 Can Jesus save people from their sins?
Quran: No | Gospel: Yes |
---|---|
57:19 And those who believe in Allah and His messengers, they are the loyal, and the martyrs are with their Lord; they have their reward and their light; while as for those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, they are owners of hell-fire. Comments: Any disbelief to one of the messengers (plural) will end up in hell-fire. By not believing exactly who Lord Jesus is, hell-fire is a sure reward for disbelievers. The unknown spirit was contradicting with Gabriel's most important message in Christianity made 600 years earlier than Islam that Jesus saves his people from their sins! | Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Comments: 'His people" are not the Israelite but all true believers of Lord Jesus, also known as Christians. Lord Jesus made it clear that those who do not believe exactly who he is, will die in sins - without a savior. |
Discrepancy#56 Did angel ever torture or force people against their will?
Hadith: Yes | The Gospel: No |
---|---|
The Prophet added, "The angel caught me (forcefully) AND PRESSED ME SO HARD that I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read and I replied, 'I do not know how to read.' Thereupon he caught me again AND PRESSED ME a second time till I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read but again I replied, 'I do not know how to read (or what shall I read)?' Thereupon he caught me for the THIRD TIME AND PRESSED ME, and then released me and said, 'Read in the name of your Lord, who has created has created man from a clot. (Quran 96.1, 96.2) (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 1, Number 3) | Luke 1:29-30 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, ... And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. Luke 1:38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. Comments: The unknown angel is definitely not Gabriel because he forced 3 times against Muhammad's will. Gabriel always identify himself, help to overcome fear and address people by name. Mary was not forced by Gabriel to fulfill the plan of God; she gave him her prior consent: "Be it to me according to thy word". |
Discrepancy#57 Will Allah disgrace Muslims?
No | Yes |
---|---|
66:8 O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will remit from you your evil deeds and bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will run before them and on their right hands; they will say: Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us! Lo! Thou art Able to do all things. | According to Sura 19:71 every Muslim will enter Hell as a decree from Allah. 19:71 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 3:192 Shakir : Our Lord! surely whomsoever Thou makest enter the fire, him Thou hast indeed brought to disgrace

Discrepancy#58 How did Allah deliver the message through the prophet?
Allah abolishes Satan's proposal | God speaks mouth-to-mouth |
---|---|
22:52 Never sent We a messenger or a prophet before thee but when He recited (the message) Satan proposed in respect of that which he recited thereof. But Allah abolisheth that which Satan proposeth. Then Allah establisheth His revelations. Allah is Knower, Wise Deuteronomy 18:21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? Comments: What happened if the prophet heard that was proposed by Satan as the truth and could not distinguish the voice of Allah? | Numbers 12:6-8 "And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches..." 2Samuel 23:2 The Spirit of the LORD spoke by me, and his word was in my tongue. 2Pet 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. |

Comments: There is no truth in Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." Other similar verses in Quran 2:41; 5:46, 5:48, 6:92 & 35:31 are questionable. |
Discrepancy#60 Are believers called the slaves of Allah?
Slaves of Allah | Gospel: The sons of God |
---|---|
2:23 And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful. Comments: According to Jesus " Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord" (John 13:16) As the messenger of Allah is considered the slave of Allah, then his followers are also the slaves. Obviously the unknown spirit made a contradictory revelation in Sura 2:23 of which a prophet is never called "slave" in the Torah nor the Gospel. | John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Comments: The sons of God are children of God, or sons & daughters of God. Christianity is a relationship with God and not a doctrine of man. Angel Gabriel know this fundamental truth written in the Scripture by the inspiration of God's Holy Spirit. |
Discrepancy#61 Is Allah the same God of the Jews and Christians?
Yes | No |
---|---|
2:62 Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve. Shakir 2:139 Say (unto the People of the Scripture): Dispute ye with us concerning Allah when He is our Lord and your Lord? Ours are our works and yours your works. We look to Him alone. Pickthall Comments: To the Muslims, Allah is the name of supreme God of Islam. But the Christians have a different perspective; Allah is merely a title for "The God" and is not a name. | 109:1-6 Say: O disbelievers! I worship not that which ye worship; Nor worship ye that which I worship. And I shall not worship that which ye worship. Nor will ye worship that which I worship. Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion. Pickthall Malachi 3:6 For I, Jehovah, do not change. (MKJV) Comments: The word "Allah" was used by pre-Islamic pagan to denote the supreme deity. It was also used by early Christian missionaries and some churches nowadays to associate with the supreme God. By the definition of the Christians, Allah is only a title for "The God" and His Name is called "Jehovah"; Allah is God the Father. |
Discrepancy#61.1 Is Allah the same God of the Jews and Christians?
Quran: Yes | Scripture: No |

Allah is the best of schemers 3:54 And (the unbelievers) schemed and planned, and Allah schemed also, and the best of schemers is Allah. 7:99 Are they then secure from Allah's scheme (makra Allahi)? None deemeth himself secure from Allah's scheme (makra Allahi) save folk that perish. Comments: The term for 'scheme' in Arabic is makara which denotes one who is a deceiver, one who is conniving, a schemer. Allah is seen as the best of deceivers. The unknown spirit was from a deceiver indeed. | God is not a tempter James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted of God": for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man (KJV) Psalms 5:4-5 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Comments: Satan tried to tempt Lord Jesus with 3 attempts (Matthew 4:1-11). But he stood the test, he did not fail any of temptations. God do not deceive neither could He be tempted by evil. |
Discrepancy#62 Did God rest after the creation?
The Torah: Yes | Quran: No |
---|---|
Exodus 31:17 "It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever. For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He RESTED, and was REFRESHED." MKJV Comments: God is not a man that He will get tired. It's a figure of speech to mean that He was not creating anything by the 7th day and was resting from work. "Refreshed" is the outcome from resting. God speaks in language for man to understand; that is the whole purpose of His word. | 50:38 "We have created the heavens and the earth, and everything between them in six days, and no fatigue touched us. " Comments: There is no truth in this Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, CONFIRMING that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel", it is contradicting with the Torah. |
Discrepancy#63 How should one treat your enemies?
Quran: Fight/ Strike Terror | Gospel: Love |
---|---|
8:59-60 Let not the unbelievers think that they can get the better (of the godly): they will never frustrate (them). Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.
| Matthew 5:43-44 (Jesus said) Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, LOVE your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and PRAY for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you Comments: There is no truth in this Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, CONFIRMING that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel", it is CONTRADICTING with the Gospel. |
Discrepancy#65 Is there compulsion in the religion of Islam?
No | Yes |
---|---|
2:256 "There is no compulsion in religion". 3:20 | 8:38-39 "Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from disbelief), their past would be forgiven; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning to them). And fight them on until there is no more persecution and the religion becomes Allah's in its entirety... " 4:89 "...if they turn back (from Islam), take (hold of) them and kill them wherever you find them and take neither Aouliya (protectors or friends) nor helpers from them." |
Discrepancy#66 Can a true God be evolved through man's effort?
The Torah/ Scripture: No | Quran: Yes |
---|---|
Exodus 3:15 And God said to Moses again, You shall say this to the sons of Israel, 'Jehovah the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob', has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My title from generation to generation. (MKJV) Malachi 3:6 For I am Jehovah, I change not. (MKJV) Hebrew 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever. (MKJV) Comments: A true God does not change and His Name is Jehovah. For sure the unknown spirit was not from Jehovah because he said "Allah -- thy Lord" and not "Jehovah"! | Muhammad assimilated different attributes and conceptions of the gods together to form his own conception of a single supreme deity Allah. The pagan Arabs made a similar accusation against him: "What! makes he the gods a single God? A strange thing is this, to be sure! And the chief persons of them break forth, saying: Go and steadily adhere to your gods; this is most surely a thing sought after. We never heard of this in the former faith; this is nothing but a forgery; Has the reminder been revealed to him from among us? Nay! they are in doubt as to My reminder. Nay! they have not yet tasted My chastisement!" S. 38:5-7 Shakir |
Discrepancy#67 What is the background of the identity of Allah?
Eternal, Alive | Evolved from pagan deities |
---|---|
1:1 "In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful." 2:255 Allah! There is no God save Him, the Alive, the Eternal. Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him. Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Who is he that intercedeth with Him save by His leave ? He knoweth that which is in front of them and that which is behind them, while they encompass nothing of His knowledge save what He will. His throne includeth the heavens and the earth, and He is never weary of preserving them. He is the Sublime, the Tremendous. Comments: "Truth is beyond words." Does a true Almighty comes forth from destroying the idols in the Ka'aba? Was his idea of an unseen God influenced by the teachings of the Torah and the Gospel during the adolescent age of Muhammad? There is no evidence that Gabriel ever appeared to Muhammad as the contradictions in the Quran as too many to discredit it. | 38:5 "Has he made the gods (all) into one God? Truly this is a wonderful thing!" 38:6 And the leader among them go away (impatiently), (saying), "Walk ye away, and remain constant to your Gods! For this is truly a thing designed (against you)! (Yusuf Ali) "In any case it is an extremely important fact that Muhammad did not find it necessary to introduce an altogether novel deity, but contented himself with ridding the heathen Allah of his companions subjecting him to a kind of dogmatic purification ... Had he not been accustomed from his youth to the idea of Allah as the Supreme God, in particular of Mecca, it may well be doubted whether he would ever have come forward as the preacher of Monotheism." (Ibn Warraq, Why I Am Not A Muslim [Prometheus Books, Amherst NY, 1995], pp. 39-40, 42) Comments: Did Abraham, Moses or Jesus have to make many gods into one God? One only read Muhammad had to clear the Ka'aba a pagan place of worship before Islam, and destroyed 360 idols therein. It was Muhammad's effort to destroy all idols therein except the Black Stone. |
Discrepancy#68 What is the meaning of the name Allah?
The Best of Schemers | "The God" = "AL -Lah" |
---|---|
Allah is the best of schemers 1:1 "In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful." Comments: The term for 'scheme' in Arabic is makara. Schemer denotes one who is a deceiver, one who is conniving, a liar. Allah is seen as the best of deceivers; the unknown spirit was indeed a deceiving spirit. | 38:5 "Has he (Muhammad) made the gods (all) into one God? Truly this is a wonderful thing!" Allah is a common title for the supreme god before the advent of Islam. The name 'Allah' (derived from 'al-Ilah' - the god or 'al-Liah' = the one worshipped) was well used in pre-Islamic times. It was rather a TITLE than a NAME and, was used for a diversity of deities. As we shall see later, an idol called Hubal was addressed as Allah. Muhammad's grandfather reportedly prayed to Hubal and addressed him as Allah. The deities AL-Lat, AL-Uzza and Manat were called "the daughters of Allah" (Surah 53:19). So Allah has pagan origin who has 3 daughters but evolved to "The God" by the effort of Muhammad. "Allah was viewed, already before Muhammad, as the Lord of the Ka'ba, while, if not surely, but very probably, this sanctuary was devoted to Hubal, whose image was placed inside" (Reste Arabischen Heidenthums, p. 221 by J. Wellhausen). |
Discrepancy#69 Who was about to be sacrificed on the altar by Abraham?
Most Muslims: Ishmael | Isaac |
---|---|
Muslims assert that there were Islamic prophets before Muhammad, but there is no record of their existence outside Quran. There is no historical record to support the assertion that Abraham offered Ishmael on the altar rather than Isaac. Yet, the Muslims assert that Abraham offered Ishmael and gave the laws of Islam to Ishmael's descendents. Comments: Ishmael was older than Isaac by 14 years as deduced from the age of Abraham when Ishmael & Isaac were born. Isaac must be over 6 years old as he knew about the burnt offering and asked Abraham about it. | Genesis 22:7-8 And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, My father. And he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood. But where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering. So they both went together. (MKJV) Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, being tested, offered up Isaac. And he who had received the promises offered up his only-begotten son (MKJV)
|
Discrepancy#69.1 Who was about to be sacrificed on the altar by Abraham?
Most Muslims: Ishmael | Isaac |
---|---|
By the time Abraham was tested by God, Ishmael was over 20 years old, he would be mature to struggle for escape if he was bound on the altar. God tested Abraham for the lovely boy Isaac and not Ishmael who was already in adolescent age. By then Ishmael was already cast out of the family by Sarah. Genesis 21:9-10 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian (whom she had borne to Abraham) mocking. And she said to Abraham, Cast out this slave woman and her son. For the son of this slave woman shall not be heir with my son, with Isaac. | Genesis 22:9 And they came to the place which God had told him of. And Abraham built an altar there and laid the wood in order. And he bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on the wood. James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? (MKJV) |
Comments: Isaac was born out of God's promise. So God considered him as the only son and not Ishmael even though Ishmael was much older.
Common Fallacy of Muslims: Who was about to be sacrificed on the altar by Abraham?
Muslims: Ishmael vs. Quran : Isaac | Torah: Isaac |
---|---|
37:113 (Yusuf Ali) And We gave him the good news of ISAAC - a prophet, - one of the Righteous. 37:100-104 "O my Lord! Grant me a Righteous (son)!" So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if God so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" So when they had both submitted their wills (to God), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), We called out to him "O Abraham! Comments: Ishmael was never called "one of the righteous" mentioned in the Quran, it was Prophet Isaac. So many Muslims do not believe in Quran at all. They believe what they think is right but not according to Quran itself. What a hypocrite? | Genesis 22:9-11 (MKJV) And they came to the place which God had told him of. And Abraham built an altar there and laid the wood in order. And he bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on the wood. And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. And the Angel of Jehovah called to him from the heavens and said, Abraham! Abraham! And he said, Here am I. Comments: Quran concur with the Torah on this aspect which proved the Bible is not corrupted. But it does not prove the unknown spirit is from God as the scripture is available to Muhammad before he was born in 570AD. |
Discrepancy#69.2 How many ways are there to enter Paradise?
2 Ways | The Gospel: One Way |
---|---|
57:19 And those who believe in Allah and His messengers, they are the loyal; and the Martyrs are with their Lord 18:107 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs are the Gardens of Paradise for welcome Comments: The unknown spirit was not from God as it had denied the most important Gospel message proclaimed by Lord Jesus and preached a different gospels for salvation by good works. Quran is in fact not from a divine source; not a miracle book. People like Waraqa ibn Nawfal had translated Gospel to Arabic language. | John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me. Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no other One; for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Comments: Jesus means he is the only gateway to the living God. There is no other way to be saved from hell-fire. One is redeemed by the Blood of Jesus and not by good works. Good works is the fruits of the believers in Jesus Christ and not a mean to attain salvation. |
Discrepancy#70 What is the Punishment for adultery?
Quran: No death sentence | The Torah & The Gospel: Death Sentence |
---|---|
1) One hundred lashes for both male and female. Surah 24:2 2) Life imprisonment for the woman but no punishment to the man who repents and makes amends. Surah 4:15
Comments: Surah 3:3 says it is confirming the Torah and the Gospel. Do you see is it true? This proves that Quran has been changed instead and contradicting with Surah 3:3 which says it is confirming the Torah and the Gospel.
| The sin of adultery is punishable by death for both man and woman as stated in the Torah Leviticus 20:10 and the Gospel in John 8:5 Leviticus 20:10 And a man who commits adultery with a man's wife, who commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, the adulterer and the adulteress dying shall die. John 8:3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, John 8:4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. John 8:5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? |
The Quran is subject to the older book Holy Bible as it submits itself to confirming (present continuous tense) the truth in the Torah and the Gospel. While the Holy Bible being an older Scripture will determine whether or not what was told by an unknown angel to Muhammad was in conformity with the earlier revelations. Sura 3:3 "He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel."
The Word of God in the Holy Bible is the Book of Final Authority by the statement of claim on its purposes. 2Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness Surah 10:94 also confirmed that if Muhammad was in doubt about the meaning or interpretation of the scripture he should consult those who read scripture before Quran. There is no single statement in the Quran that the Torah and the Gospel has been corrupted by the Scribes. God has never permitted the earlier revelations to be corrupted by any true believers.
Hebrews 4:12 For the
Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. On the other hand, there are citations in the Quran which provides evidence that Muhammad assimilated different attributes and conceptions of the gods together to form his own conception of the Deity called Allah. The pagan Arabs made a similar accusation against him:
What! makes he the gods a single God? A strange thing is this, to be sure! And the chief persons of them break forth, saying: Go and steadily adhere to your gods; this is most surely a thing sought after. S. 38:5-6 Shakir
The Old Testament of the Bible explicitly denies the Muslim assertion that the pre-Islamic Ishmaelites knew and worshiped the true God and that their only problem was that they associated other gods with him. The data conclusively shows that as the centuries unfolded the Ishmaelites forsook the God of their ancestors Abraham and Jacob, Yahweh Elohim, for the worship of some false gods. The false god whom they worshiped as the true God was quite possibly Baal. The data also shows that Hubal was the high god worshiped at Mecca, which supports the view that he was the Allah of pre-Islamic times.
In conclusion, these are only some example of contradictions in the Quran. There are much more contradictions which are not worth exploring further because only two evidence of contradictions is sufficient to discredit the whole book as the doctrine of man or of an angel and nothing much from God. Most of the writings are plagiarized from the Torah and the Gospel which Muhammad acquired from his prior knowledge of the scripture. Allah is the name of god of Islam which has pre-Islamic origin. He is different from the Elohim of the Hebrew God known as "YHWH" who is worshiped by Jews and Christians 2,050 years and 550 years respectively before the advent of Islam. Quran being a newer book has to rely on itself to show it is reliable and truthful but evidence in Surah 3:3 shows that it is untrue and has no credibility to consider it as the Word of God.

Muhammad S.A.W wasn't passed away because of POISON!! Seem that you are trying to make all the Moslems to be confused!! U are doing this blog because you are jealous with Islam and the contradictions in Bible is obvious!!!
Ga:2:16: Knowing that a man is not justified by the WORKS of the law, but by the FAITH of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the FAITH of Christ, and NOT BY THE WORKS of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
VERSUS
Jas:2:20: But wilt thou know, O vain man, that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS is dead?
And about al-Quran has 7 reading, it is about Qiraat which is different words that has same meaning!
You are jealous because your Gospels are written by men! How they compile Bible? After 325 years later in council of Nicea? You said that al-Quran was compiled on 700 AD something? Well, it was compiled ASAP than BIBLE.
Surah 10:94 says when you are in doubt ask those who read scripture before Quran. Why have to ask the Christians? Because followers of Jesus are superior (Surah 3:55) and are gifted to interpret scripture.
Jas:2:20: But wilt thou know, O vain man, that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS is dead?
The context of James and Galatians are different; they are not contradictory. Paul wrote to Galatians to remind them that a man is saved by faith in the person of Jesus Christ who is sinless. Jesus came down from Heaven to do His Father's will, that is to save people from their sins.
Apostle James was emphasizing that faith by words alone is mere wishing and must be accompanied by action. Its context is totally different.
Check your biography of the death of Muhammed. I got it from the Hadith.
You are deluded to believe that the Holy Bible is compiled in 325AD. There is no truth in it. It was compiled around 55AD but later the canon of scripture was established. Marcion around 85AD has already been quoting from few books in the NT and Irnaneus by 130AD already have the Gospel of Jesus by 4 writers finalised as true Gospel. http://www.bible-researcher.com/canon3.html
Quran is merely plagiarized from ancient manuscripts of the Torah and the Gospel.
Muhammad was educated about the Torah and the Gospel by Christian monk Bahira at age of 12 years. For how many years is not known but presume until he graduated himself in view of the fact that Bahira forsaw his potential as messenger for Arabs nation. Source: ww w.islamic-message. net /English /Books /lopm /chptr07.htm (Remove spaces)
Allah taught Muhammad by pen which means he is well educated and not illiterate.
[096:001] Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-
[096:002] Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:
[096:003] Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,-
[096:004] He Who taught (the use of) the PEN,-
[096:005] Taught man that which he knew not.
According to the tradition, when Muhammad was either nine or twelve while accompanying the Meccans' caravan to Syria, he met a Christian Monk or hermit named Bahira who is said to have foreseen the career of Muhammed as a prophet of Allah for Arabs nation. The Christian monk when forsaw him as the potential to be the prophet taught him all the Torah and the Gospel of Jesus. Muhammad could have learnt the Torah and the Gospel by heart as well as he could recite the Quran to his companions. As memory always fail man, so we find many contradictions in the Quran when compared to the older books.
Source: en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Muhammad
Muhammad was a wise man who married a rich woman named Khadija. He was educated in the Torah and the Gospel of Jesus around the age of 12 years. Many of the things in the Quran were memorized from his prior knowledge acquired from the Christian monk named Bahira. Muhammad was not illiterate as many people underestimated his past education and learning from the Christian monk. Muhammad's uncle Waraka was a Christian and he was the first person to proclaim that Muhammad was a prophet but it turns out he was a mere messenger to the Arabs nation and not to the world - an universal religion.
Original sources of the Quran can be found in anciet manuscripts of Christian. Do your own research.
Original Sources of the Quran
Muslims always believe that God alone is held to be the "Source" of Islam; and if so, then all effort to find a human origin for any part of it must be in vain. Now, if we can trace the teaching of any part of it, to an earthly Source, or to human systems existing previous to the Prophet's age, then Islam at once falls to the ground.

Quran is influenced by the teachings of the Sabians, the Jews and the Christians. This fact cannot be denied because Muhammad respected their views and proclaimed it in the Quran.
Surah 2:62 (Yusuf Ali)
Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
Note: Parenthesis are words of Yusuf Ali and cannot carry any weight as word of Allah.
These are some of the contradictions that led me and my Father (now former Imam) away from Islam. After I saw the actually video proof of the Death and Resurrection of the messiah Jesus Christ on Evolution Facts I made the decision to renounce the false teachings of Muhammad. The evidence of the Shroud of Turin and the sudarium provides irrefutable proof along with eyewitness account that Jesus was God our Salvation who resurrected from the grave. Now the Gospel message makes sense.
Mr SH. NURSYAHIDAH,
Thank you for reminding me of the scripture Galations 2:16 that led my away from Islam.
I discovered that when I read the bible in context it was easy to see that Galations 2:16 is dealing with salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. James 2:20 is dealing with those who have already obtained that salvation - demonstrating their faith in Christ to others in need.
I pray that you surrender your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior as I did after I watched the Shroud of Turin videos on the right-side panel of this website.

Positron your Teachings made me more near to Jesus.Thank you. May you like people came more and more and also thanks to "Nothing but Truth" May YWH and Jesus bless you two. Amen.
