Was there any prophet to Mecca before Muhammad? Please debate.

There is no prophet to the Arabs in Mecca before Muhammad:
Quran 11:49 (P) This is of the tidings of the unseen which We inspire in thee. Thou thyself knewest it not nor did thy folk before this. Then have patience. Lo! the sequel is for those who ward off (evil).

Obviously Quran 11:49 contradicts with Quran 2:127 (P): And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House: Our Lord! Accept from us (this duty). Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Hearer, the Knower.


Quran 11:49 clearly states that there had been no prophets to the Arabs before Muhammad, so it can't be true that Abraham & Ismael built the Kaaba (Quran 2: 127). Also note that the Islamic traditions point out that before Muhammad's claim to the prophetic office, none of his people had made the claim before him [Bukhari, Vol 1, Bk 1, #6].

Surah 4:14 (P) And whoso disobeyeth Allah and His messenger (Jesus) and transgresseth His limits (laws), He will make him ENTER Fire, where he will dwell for ever; his will be a shameful doom.

Mat 20:18 JESUS said "Behold, we go up to Jerusalem: and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,

Mat 20:19  (JESUS said) "And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.


Mark 9:31  For he (JESUS) taught his disciples, and said unto them, "The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.


John 20:27  Then saith he (JESUS) to Thomas, "Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

John 20:28  And Thomas answered and said unto him, "My Lord AND my God."
Notes: JESUS did not for bid Apostle Thomas to call Him "My God" because He did truly come out from GOD.

John 16:27 (JESUS said) "For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I CAME OUT from God.  (KJV)

John 20:29  Jesus saith unto him, "Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

John 14:15 JESUS said: "If ye love me, keep My commandments."

John 14:21  "He that hath My commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 15:10  "If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.


Jesus said there was no other way to God the Father in Heaven.
John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus said only he who is "born again" can enter the Kingdom of God.
John 3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
 

Every believer have to be baptized with water and with the Spirit of God.
John 3:5  Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.


Mark 16:15-16  And he (Jesus) said unto them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is BAPTIZED shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

John 3:6-7 JESUS said "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.


John 1:12-13  "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.


Anyone who receive the Spirit of Jesus Christ, shall be born again of the Spirit of God.
Romans 8:10 "And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.


The resurrected Jesus will never die any more when He return to the earth to judge the world.
Luke 20:36  Jesus said "Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
