Christian and Muslim views on Salvation

Every verse in the Quran and Holy Bible are taken as God's laws. When there is a clause without a provision, any lawyers and judge will know how to interpret it literally.

Let's start off with Christian views.

BEFORE the declaration of faith by a Gentile woman, Jesus tested her by telling her a proverb.

Mat 15:26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

AFTER she believed in Lord Jesus by her words and not by her action alone, she was called "O woman, great is thy faith...". People with true faith in Jesus Christ are known as Christians.

Mat 15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

Mat 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

James 2:22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works

Indeed dogs are faithless people who refused to believe in the atoning blood of Lord Jesus Christ for cleansing their sins.

Rev 22:15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

God's law says remission of sins by blood sacrifice.

Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death (eternal separation from God); but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God

God told Aaron to offer Him sin offering to fulfill His standard for remission of sins.

Exo 30:10 And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD.

Jesus came to replace animals sacrifice with his own blood sacrifice.

Heb 10:9 then he added, "Behold, I have come to do your will." He abolishes the first in order to establish the second.

Heb 10:10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Angel Gabriel declared:

Mat 1:21 She (Mary) will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their SINS."

Jesus said: "for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." (Mat 26:28) And he said to them, "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many. (Mark 14:24)

Jesus foretold his crucifixion to shed his precious Blood: "You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified." (Mat 26:2)

Rom 3:25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.

Gal 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Gal 3:12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Gal 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Gal 3:15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.

Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Christians are one in Jesus Christ, who are seed of Abraham and heirs by promise.

Gal 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Gal 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Man and God are reconciled by the Blood of Jesus

Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Christians are fellow citizens with the saints and of the family of God

Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone

Now let's proceed to examine Muslims views.

Is there any assurance of salvation for Muslims?

1) Allah will forgive those whom He will and not for every one who believe. So how could Muslims be assured to enter Paradise?

Sura/Chapter 002 - Al-Baqarah. Verse 284

Unto Allah (belongeth) whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; and whether ye make known what is in your minds or hide it, Allah will bring you to account for it. He will FORGIVE whom He will and He will punish whom He will. Allah is Able to do all things. (Pickthal Translation)

Another verse tells that salvation is for whom the Allah has mercy and not for every one who believe.

Muslims enter Hell as Quran says Allah fill Hell with mankind and jinn together. Mankind is human beings. So which Muslims will be spared?

Sura/Chapter 011 - Hûd. Verse 119

Save him on whom thy Lord hath mercy; and for that He did create them. And the Word of thy Lord hath been fulfilled: Verily I shall fill HELL with the jinn (demons) and mankind together.

2) Allah will send those to Hell who disobey him and there is no given provision of forgiveness for disobedience and no certainty of whatever limits of sins.

Sura/Chapter 004 - An-Nisâ. Verse 14 And whoso disobeyeth Allah and His messenger and transgresseth His limits, He will make him enter FIRE, where such will dwell for ever; his will be a shameful doom.

3) No amount of good works can atone the sin of man because sin is the trangression of God's law.

Under God's law, no one is perfect because if one break a law, he fails the whole Ten Commandments. The penalty of sin is death (figuratively means eternal separation from God). If there is no law, then there is no sin at all because sin is a measure against God's given law

1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. (1 John 3:4)

Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

But Quran says about whoever will enter Paradise and Hell shall depend on good works and weighing on scales!

Now is "good works" ideology faulty? Sin is trangression of God's law and not man's law. Doing good works to other people is unable to atone man's sins because it has not meet the requirement of God's law for remission of sins.

Sura/Chapter 007 - Al-A'râf. Verse 8. The weighing on that day is the true (weighing). As for those whose SCALE is heavy, they are the successful.

Sura/Chapter 023 - Al-Mu'minûn. Verse 103.And those whose SCALEs are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding.

4) Allah has decreed that every Muslim shall enter Hell.

Sura 19:71 There is NOT One of you BUT shall approach it (Hell). That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. (Pickthal Translation)

The literal translation of the last verse cited is: "Not one of you but will enter it (Hell)". Muslim scholars are confused about this verse and say that all will be admitted to Hell but the believers will be rescued. But no one can know when he will be rescued.

It is worthwhile to quote Ibn Katheir, the well known Islamic expositor, as he stated the stories for men who lived understanding what the prophet of Islam has said. One of the stories is about Abdullah Ibn Rowaha was putting his head on his wife's lap, he wept, his wife also wept. He asked her, "why do you weep?" " I saw you weeping so I wept", she answered. He said, "I remembered what Allah said :'No one of you but will enter it (Hell)'. I do not know if I will escape from it or not."

According to Tradition Hadith Al Bukhary volume 5 No. 266, the prophet of Islam said: " By Allah, though I am the apostle of Allah, yet I do not know what Allah will do to me"

The Bible is clear that unbelieving in Lord Jesus (for his original mission on atonment for sins) will lead to second death.

Rev 21:8 (Jesus said) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Details explanation has been given and response by a Muslim agreed that Muslims shall enter Hell but does not get burned! Is this so as told in Quran?

Answering Christianity http://www.answering-christianity.com/karim/muslims_in_hell_rebuttal.htm

Sura/Chapter 005 - Al-Mâ'idah. Verse 86. But those who disbelieve and deny our revelations (in Scripture), they are owners of HELL fire.

Quran was revealed earliest in AD610 while the Gospel was first written by John Mark around AD55. The Bible in 3rd century and today's Holy Bible are similar! Quran says it was CONFIRMING the earlier revelations and not CORRECTING the scripture. I just quote 2 verses for easy reference.

Sura 3:3 He hath revealed unto thee the Scripture with truth, CONFIRMING that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel

Sura 5:46 And We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps, CONFIRMING that which was (revealed) before him, and We bestowed on him the Gospel wherein is guidance and a light, CONFIRMING that which was (revealed) before it in the Torah a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil).

5) There is no forgiveness for idolaters (such as love money, impurity, evil desire) as their eternal place is hell fire.

Sura/Chapter 009 - At-Taubah. Verse 113. It is not for the Prophet, and those who believe, to pray for the forgiveness of idolaters even though they may be near of kin (to them) after it hath become clear that they are people of HELL FIRE.

Mat 6:24 (Jesus said) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (money).

Col 3:5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

6) Every soul will taste of death; whosoever is removed from Fire will enter Paradise. It means Muslims will be burned in Hell Fire while waiting to be removed to enter Paradise.

Sura/Chapter 003 - Al-Imrân. Verse 185 Every soul will taste of death. And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter PARADISE, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion.

7) Muslims could be sent astray by Allah and then their abode will be Hell

Sura/Chapter 017 - Al-Isrâ. Verse 97. And he whom Allah guideth, he is led aright; while, as for him whom He sendeth astray, for them thou wilt find no protecting friends beside Him, and We shall assemble them on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf; their habitation will be HELL; whenever it abateth, We increase the flame for them.

Truly Allah has decreed for every one to enter Hell according to Sura 19:71 (Yusuf Ali Translatn): Not one (None) of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished.

Lord Jesus said there would be no way out of Hell once one was sent therein (Luke 16:26). Yet it is a decree for every Muslim to enter Hell (Sura 19:71)

The correct intepretation of the verse is to read the context of Sura 19:69-70 about a Muslim who asked about the resurrection of the dead.

Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Therefor, worship thou Him and be thou steadfast in His service. Knowest thou one that can be named along with Him ? (Comment: This man is a Muslim as he worships Allah the Lord of the heavens and the earth.) And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them (Muslims) and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. (Sura 19: 69-70) Pickthal Translation

In conclusion, Muslims are destined to enter Hell Sura 19:71 Not one (none) of you BUT will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. Sura 19:71 (Yusuf Ali Translation).

As you see, there is no assurance of salvation to those who embrace Islam.

Now, if you felt your heart being opened to a new desire for God and you sincerely want to accept the gift of God, You may pray something like this:

Dear Lord God, I know that I am a sinner, I realize that from my life and from your Word, destined for Hell. I need your mercy and forgiveness. I believe that Jesus has died for my sins. I trust Jesus as my Savior and Lord. I want to turn away from my sins. Cleanse my sins by the Blood of Jesus shed on the Cross. God, I submit to you now and I invite You to come into my heart and life. Please help me to follow you all the days of my life.
In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

The prayer is simple and yet many Muslims prefer to work for salvation instead of accepting the salvation plan of God by faith in Lord Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith.

Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Did Jesus mean Dogs are Gentiles including Moslems and Christians?

Lord Jesus said there would be no way out of Hell once one was sent therein (Luke 16:26). Yet it is a decree for every Muslim to enter Hell (Sura 19:71)

Sura 19:69-70

In conclusion, Moslems are destined to enter Hell. Sura 19:71 Not one (None) of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. Sura 19:71 (Yusuf Ali Translation). Do Muslims know what is the meaning of Decree to enter Hell?

BEFORE the non-Israelite believe in Lord Jesus, she is like a Gentile Dog.

Mat 15:26 But he (Jesus) answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

AFTER she believe in Lord Jesus, she is a Christian and a child of God. Jesus actually called her "O woman, great is thy faith..." Where is the TEXT?

And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, "O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt." And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. (Mat 15:27-28)

Apostle Paul wrote "But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith." - (Gal 3:11) And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. - (Gal 3:8) That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. - (Gal 3:14) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. - (Gal 3:26) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." - (Gal 3:29)

Lord Jesus fore-ordained the disciples to testify the Gospel to the Gentiles. Jesus said: " And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles." (Mat 10:18)

And she (Mary) shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their SINS. (Mat 1:21)

And he (Jesus) took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of SINS. (Mat 26:27-28) Jesus shed his precious Blood as sacrifice for your sins and mine. That by believing in Jesus' acts of love and the one who sent Him, one can have eternal life.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And WHOSOEVER (any one) liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:25-26)

Sura 3:55 Behold! God said: "O Jesus! I will take thee(crucified) and raise thee to Myself and clear thee of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee (Jesus) SUPERIOR to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: ... (Literal Translation). Faith in Jesus is superior than disbelievers.

John 3:16 Jesus, the greatest Prophet said: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Rev 22:15 For without are dogs (unbelieving, heathen, contemptible, adulterers, pagans), and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Where is the promise for Muslims in the Quran to enter Paradise but it is guaranteed for Jews, Christians and Sabaeans?

Sura 2:62 Lo! those who believe and those who are Jews, and CHRISTIANs, and Sabaeans whoever believeth in God and the Last Day and doeth right surely their reward is with their Lord, and there shall NO FEAR come upon them neither shall they grieve. (Sura 2:62) Pickthal

Sura 3:185 Every soul will taste of death. (Elijah was taken alive to heaven (see 2 Kings 2:11) and he did not die. So every soul will taste of death is a false revelation! Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.). And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is (not SPARED meaning Muslims enter Hell but) REMOVED from the Fire and is made to enter PARADISE, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion. (Sura 3:185) Pickthal

Muslims are decreed to enter Hell (Sura 19:71) and shall wait to be removed from Hell (Sura 19:72). Who is the Savior for Muslims?

Muslim asked: Why Jesus had called U a gentile DOG?

Question: "What make U sure that U R right and they are WRONG... despite that U have Failed to answer why Jesus had called U a gentile DOG?"

As a matter of fact, Jesus did not call me a Gentile dog. How can you put words into Jesus' mouth? You have misunderstood the words of Jesus spoken to a Gentile woman and not to all Gentiles race! It is obviously quoted out of context. So why did Lord Jesus enter the Gentiles territory in the first place? Why did the Gentile woman approach the Jews as traditionally they do not associate with each race? Can you answer these questions first?

Now, when I read the context of the passage and not just one verse that Lord Jesus was talking to a woman in the Gentiles coasts of Tyre and Sidon, I am sure that Gentile is also given salvation in the kingdom of God because that is a precedent case for all Gentiles race.

To deduce the significant of the conversation between Jesus and the Gentile woman, let's read again the said passage:-

And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord,

thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me.

But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. (Mat 15:26) Cross-reference: But Jesus said unto her, (Let the children first be filled:) for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. (Mark 7:27)

And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. (KJV Matthew 15:22-28)

Firstly, Lord Jesus was entering into the Gentiles region of Tyre and Sidon after the debate with the Jews about what really defiled a man (Mat 15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Mat 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. ) So Lord Jesus did not mean that the Gentile woman whom he was talking with, was unclean (dogs) and it did not occur to him that Gentiles race is unclean, otherwise he would not enter the Gentiles territory of Tyre and Sidon.

Secondly, Lord Jesus was using a metaphor to make a proverbial statement: "It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs." Greek word is in fact "kunarion" which means "little dogs or pet puppy" and not "kuon" means "dog". It is a general truth to feed the children with bread first before casting away to the pet dogs. Now it is an anology to show the priority of the two things or the reason for the priority to be given to the children.

Thirdly, the aforesaid event was recorded to show a precedent case that Gentiles race will not be neglected by Lord Jesus and not a racist nor insulting remark on Gentiles race. It is a known fact that Gentiles do not associate with the Jews before and during the time of Jesus.

Forthly, the positive implication is that Gentiles are all the while considered outcast and of non-Jewish bloodline. Yet that Canaanite woman has changed the whole perception for the Gentiles race because even Gentile are not denied salvation by Lord Jesus. I read that Gentile woman's daughter was healed from her sickness. So I am very sure that Lord Jesus will not deny me when I approach him in sincerity and in truth.

God love all human the same way; He give rain & sunshine to good and evil. But Allah decreed for every Muslim to enter Hell according to Sura 19:71 (Yusuf Ali Translation) Not one (None) of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished.

Sura 19:67-68 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught ? And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them (Muslims) and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. (Pickthal)

Lord Jesus said there would be no way out of Hell once one was sent therein (Luke 16:26).

So whom shall I believe? Of course I believe Lord Jesus who promise me eternal life and not the one who decreed to go to Hell.

Lord Jesus said: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:15-16)

Any salvation to the Gentiles nations beside Israel?

Luke 3:6 And ALL flesh shall see the salvation of God.

DOGS are not referring to Gentiles in general.
Mar 7:26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.
Mar 7:27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
Mar 7:28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

There were precedent cases that Gentiles have been granted eternal life with Lord Jesus even though not rulers with the 12 tribes of Israel.

Evidence 1
Greek has also been promised Salvation.
Act 11:4 But (Apostle) Peter began and explained it to them in order: (Act 11:5-14)
Act 11:15 As I (Peter) began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as on us at the beginning.
Act 11:16 And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'
Act 11:17 If then God gave the same gift to them as he gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God's way?"
Act 11:18 When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, "Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life."

Evidence 2
Rom 15:15 But on some points I (Paul) have written to you very boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by God
Rom 15:16 to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the GENTILES in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Rom 15:17 In Christ Jesus, then, I have reason to be proud of my work for God.

Evidence 3
Rom 15:8 For I (Paul) tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised (Jew) to show God's truthfulness, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs,
Rom 15:9 and in order that the Gentiles (non-Jew) might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, "Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name."
Rom 15:10 And again it is said, "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people."
Rom 15:11 And again, "Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples extol him."
Rom 15:12 And again Isaiah says, "The root of Jesse will come, even he (Jesus) who arises to rule the Gentiles; in him will the Gentiles hope."
Rev 22:12 (Jesus said) And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. "
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Witness 2 (Apostle Matthew)
Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their SINS.
Mat 26:27 And he (Jesus) took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of SINS.

Sura 3:55 Behold! God said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee (Jesus) SUPERIOR to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: ... (Yusuf Ali Translation)
Faith in Jesus is superior than disbelievers.

There are several cases that Lord Jesus was not sent only to the Jews but to the whole human race. Lord Jesus was not a racist as some disbelievers like to discredit him.

Case 1
The salvation has not come to the Gentiles until the event at Caesarea. It was Apostle Peter who witnessed that the Holy Spirit was also given to Cornelius a centurion of what was known as the Italian Cohort (Gentile) and his household at Caesarea.
Act 10:34 So Peter opened his mouth and said: "Truly I understand that God shows no partiality,
Act 10:35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.
Act 10:36 As for the word that he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all),
Act 10:37 you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed:
Act 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
Act 10:39 And we are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a tree,
Act 10:40 but God raised him on the third day and made him to appear,
Act 10:41 not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
Act 10:42 And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead.
Act 10:43 To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name."
Act 10:44 While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word.
Act 10:45 And the believers from among the circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles.
Act 10:46 For they were hearing them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared,
Act 10:47 "Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?"
Act 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain for some days.
Act 11:18 When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, "Then to the Gentiles also God has GRANTED repentance that leads to life."

Case 2
In another event, Samaritan leper was also healed by Jesus. Samaritan are people of mixed blood between Jews and Gentiles in Samaria and they were considered unclean by the Jews. Basically, Samaritan are Gentiles by Jewish standard.
Luk 17:12 And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance
Luk 17:13 and lifted up their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us."
Luk 17:14 When he saw them he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went they were cleansed.
Luk 17:15 Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice;
Luk 17:16 and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan.
Luk 17:17 Then Jesus answered, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?
Luk 17:18 Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?"
One read that Jesus also clensed a Gentile or foreigner but did not deny the request of the leper. So will Jesus deny the salvation of the Gentiles?

Case 3
Another evidence that Lord Jesus did not deny the salvation of Gentiles, is from the event he met a Samaritan woman at Jacob's well.
Joh 4:5 Then cometh he (Jesus) to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
Joh 4:6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
Joh 4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
Joh 4:8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
Joh 4:9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
Joh 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
Joh 4:11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
Joh 4:12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
Joh 4:13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
Joh 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Joh 4:15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
Joh 4:16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
Joh 4:17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
Joh 4:18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
Joh 4:19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
Joh 4:20 Our fathers worshiped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
Joh 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
Joh 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Joh 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
Joh 4:26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
Joh 4:27 And upon this came his disciples, and marveled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
Joh 4:28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
Joh 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
Joh 4:30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
Joh 4:31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
Joh 4:32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
Joh 4:33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him aught to eat?
Joh 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
Joh 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
Joh 4:36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
Joh 4:37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
Joh 4:38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labor: other men labored, and ye are entered into their labors.
Joh 4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
Joh 4:40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.
Joh 4:41 And many more believed because of his own word;
Joh 4:42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.

Case 4
An eunuch from Ethiopia also came to accept Jesus as the Son of God and was baptized. So the Gentiles are in the salvation plan of God.
Act 8:27 And he (Philip) arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship
Act 8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same Scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
Act 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
Act 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Salvation is for all!

Are the Dogs Gentiles, outside the heaven city gates?

Moslems may try to paint a picture that Gentiles Dogs are outside the gates of new Jerusalem city and that Lord Jesus was sent only to the house of Israel - the Jews. Was the original mission of Lord Jesus sent to the Jews only and paving the way for another prophet to accomplish the salvation plan for the Gentiles? Let us examine the Scripture in order to establish the truth, nothing but the truth.

What is the meaning of "Dogs" that is used in the Bible before Jesus used it?

Let's search for first mention of "dogs" in the Bible, bring it to:
Exo 11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a DOG move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

To understand the context of "dog" in the above verse 7, the whole chapter 11 will lead to correct interpretation. The verse 5 tells us about "all the firstborn of beasts" shall die.

God said to Moses:
Exo 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.

Then what does it mean when it says in verse 7 that "against any of the children of Israel shall not a DOG move his tongue"? The characteristic of dogs is that they will lick the blood of dead animals. Moving the tongue means to lick the blood. Dogs are therefore used to represent unclean animals in that they eat dead bodies or unclean food.

Exo 22:31 And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
1Ki 21:19 And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where DOGS licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.

Dogs in the above context has the literal meaning that they are unclean animals. Therefore, dogs symbolize or represent those that are unholy.

Search for the first mention of "dogs" (kyon) by Lord Jesus;
Matt 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the DOGS (Greek: kyon, literally or figuratively means a dog) , neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Dogs symbolize unclean or contemptible. In the above verse, Jesus teaches that holy teachings is not to be entrusted to the unholy or contemptible man. It is futile to teach holy concepts to people who do not want to listen and will only be tearing apart what has been revealed in truth for instance, the Gospel of Jesus.

Both Apostle Paul and Peter used the word "dogs" in the same sense as Jesus used it. Paul warned the Philippians against dogs.

Phi 3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
2Pe 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
2Pe 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy
2Pe 2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The DOG is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

From the above passage, it reveals another characteristic of dogs that they have the habit of returning to their vomit. This is the nature of dogs. The dogs is an unusual animal in this aspect.

Apostle Peter related the proverb to believers who turned away from the truth and holy teachings of Jesus and turn back to the old way of life. In other words, Peter is talking about the apostate, a person who renounce his previous faith. It is like having accepted the gospel of Jesus but decides to return to the old ways in his unholy life. That is like a dog throwing out his vomit. So one can see that the use of the word "dogs" does not always mean "Gentile dogs".

A Canaanite woman came to Jesus asking for his help as her daughter was possessed by a demon.
Mat 15:21 And Jesus went out thence, and withdrew into the parts of Tyre and Sidon.
Mat 15:22 And behold, a Canaanitish woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a demon.
Mat 15:23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
Mat 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (KJV)
Mat 15:25 Then came she and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me.
Mat 15:26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to
DOGS (Greek: kynarion means a puppy or pet dog) .

From the "limited" commission of Jesus to his 12 apostles, it confirms that Jesus' priority is his own race.

Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

To have a correct understanding on the word "dogs" in the right context, take a cross-reference to the Gospel of Mark.

Mark 7:27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children FIRST be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs (Greek: kynarion means a puppy or little dog) .
Did Jesus mean the Canaanite woman is a "little dog"? Not at all. If it were so, Jesus would say "O Gentile dog, I am not sent but to the house of Israel. You can leave now." In fact, Jesus was using an analogy to denote the priority of his mission and did not mean Gentiles are dogs. It is a parable of Jesus about Bread - himself (John 6:35) to feed his own people first. Children may cast the leftover bread to their pet dogs.

Some translation like ESV has wrong interpretation in this manner by interpolation of the word "only" which is not found in original Greek text.

Mat 15:24 He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
If Jesus were only sent to the house of Israel, then he would not care about the Gentile woman. But one can read that Jesus did grant the request of the Greek woman. Apostle Paul made it clear about the salvation of the Gentiles.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every ONE that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The common misconception is that Gentiles is a general term for people who are neither Jews nor Christians or literally Gentiles are pagans. Who are the Gentiles according to the Bible?

Genesis 10:5 By these were the isles of the GENTILES divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
Second mention of Gentiles is from:
Jdg 4:2 And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.

So the term Gentiles have been wrongly referred to non-Jews. In fact Gentiles are the Jews.
The sons of Japheth are the Gentiles, All the nations mentioned in Gen 10: 2-4 are traced back to the European nations. The Europeans or "White People" are the Gentiles. To prove this lets go back to scripture. The apostle Paul stated he is the apostle to the Gentiles.
Romans11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

Paul taught Europeans, 1. The ROMANS, 2. CORINTHIANS, 3. GALATIANS, 4. PHILIPPIANS, 5. THESSALONIANS ETC.

All these people were white Europeans, if the Gentiles were everybody who wasn’t an Israelite, why didn’t the apostle to the Gentiles go to the Egyptians and Ethiopians? Both these nations were his next door neighbors? Paul didn’t teach them because they are not Gentiles.

Gentiles do not mean Christians or a race in this context but a name of a place.
Mat 4:14 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,
Mat 4:15 The land of Zebulun, and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;
Mat 12:21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

Is that Canaanite woman a Gentile dog? No, because she was a woman of great faith in Jesus Christ. Those who have faith in Jesus are called Christians and not pagans.

Why Jesus did not send her away when his disciples asked him to do so? Instead Jesus said he was sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. In other words, his priority was sent to minister to the Israelite nation and not to the Gentiles at that material time. In any event, Jesus did not turn her away but granted her the request. The same principle applies to you and me today, when we approach Lord Jesus in sincerity and in truth for the direction and guidance in making the right decision about the Way to Paradise, Lord Jesus will not turn away from us.

The Greek word "dog" used by Lord Jesus is "kynarion" means a pet puppy in Matthew 15:26 while in Revelation Chapter 22:15 Greek word used for dogs is "kyon" literally or figuratively for "dog" and not a puppy. One can see the difference? The interpretation for "dogs" in Revelation Chapter 22:15 has a different meaning than in word used by Lord Jesus.
In a parable of the beggar Lazarus and rich man, there is also mention of dogs licking the sores of the beggar. Dogs are literally unclean.

Luke 16:20 (Jesus said) And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
Luke 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs (Greek: kyon literally Dog) came and licked his sores.

The misinterpretation of the meaning "dogs" will create confusion to the teachings of salvation. Jesus granted the request of Canaanite woman and did not deny her of any assistance. The Samaritan woman believed in the words of Lord Jesus and declared that He was indeed the Christ, Savior of the world. So we can be confidence that Lord Jesus will not deny our requests when one come to Him in prayers.

For Jesus’ statement to be construed as rude or wrong in some way, a person would be forced to prove that the illustration or idiom He used to refer to the Gentiles as "little dogs" must be taken in a derogatory fashion. Such cannot be proved. In fact, the term Jesus used for "little dogs" could easily be taken in an illustrative way without any type of unkind insinuation. In his commentary on Mark, renowned commentator R.C.H. Lenski translated the Greek term used by Jesus (kunaria) as "little pet dogs." Lenski further noted concerning Jesus statement: "In the Orient dogs have no owners but run wild and serve as scavengers for all garbage and offal.... It is an entirely different conception when Jesus speaks of ‘little pet dogs’ in referring to the Gentiles. These have owners who keep them even in the house and feed them by throwing them bits from the table".

In regard to the non-derogatory nature of Jesus’ comment to the Gentile woman, Allen Black wrote: "The form of his statement is proverbial. And the basis of the proverb is not an antipathy for Gentiles, but the necessary Jewish focus of Jesus’ earthly ministry"

To the Jews First and Also to the Greeks

In order for one to understand Jesus’ statement, he or she must recognize the primary purpose of the comment. Jesus was passing through the land of the Gentiles (Greeks) and was approached by a woman who was not a Jew. While Jesus’ message would eventually reach the Gentile world, it is evident from the Scriptures that the Jewish nation would be the initial recipient of that message. In his account of Jesus’ encounter with the Syrophoenician woman, Matthew recorded that Jesus said: "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel" (15:24). When Jesus sent the twelve apostles on the "limited commission," He told them: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel" (Matthew 10:5-6).

Just before Jesus ascended to heaven after His resurrection, He informed the apostles: "[A]nd you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" (Acts 1:8). The sequence of places where the apostles would witness manifests the order in which the Gospel would be preached (i.e., the Jews first and then the Gentiles). In addition, the apostle Paul, in his epistle to the church at Rome, stated: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek" (1:16). Jesus’ statement to the Syrophoenician woman indicated that the Jewish nation was Jesus’ primary target for evangelism during His earthly ministry.
But heed that all liars will be cast to the lake of fire. If one's faith is not in Jesus, then there is no savior and advocate in the Great Judgment.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Who shall be saved from hell fire?
Mar 16:15 And he (Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Joh 10:9 (Jesus said) I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Who are judging the 12 tribes of Israel?
Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them (disciples), Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, JUDGING the twelve tribes of Israel.
Luke 22:30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones JUDGING the twelve tribes of Israel.
Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Lord Jesus did not say Gentiles shall not enter the gates of new Jerusalem City. He did promise the 12 Apostles to rule with him sit on the thrones as judges over the 12 tribes of Israel. Believers do not have to be judges but are fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God (Eph 2:19).

Act 26:6 And now I (Paul) stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers:
Act 26:7 Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.
Act 26:8 Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?
Act 26:9 I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

How to be saved from Hell?
Act 16:29 Then he (prison keeper) called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
Act 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Act 16:31 And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1Ti 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Who shall enter the new Jerusalem city?
Luke 10:20 (Jesus said) Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your Names are written in heaven.
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will NOT blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel

Christians have a place in new Jerusalem city by promise is similar to promise with Isaac.
Isaiah 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Rev 1:20 (Jesus said) The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

The 7 churches namely Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyathira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea are located in Asia Minor and not in Israel. Hence Lord Jesus was addressing to the Gentiles too and the salvation plan of God is for all.
Act 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
Eph 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
Eph 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
Eph 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
Eph 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Lamb's Book of Life
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Surely the dogs are not Christians because Jesus has redeemed them by his own blood and are holy in God's sight.
Gal 4:4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Gal 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;
Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Mat 26:28 (Jesus said) For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of SINS.

Again who are the Dogs? The Dogs are the unrighteous or contemptible, and apostate.
1Co 6:9 Know ye not that the UNRIGHTEOUS shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
1Co 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Take a look at Jesus' Great commission on whom shall the gospel be preached.
Mat 28:19 (Jesus said) Go ye therefore, and teach ALL nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost
Act 1:8 (Jesus said) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
As the Great Commission is to witness to the farthest part of the earth beyond the country of Israel, it must be referring to all nations too.
Salvation is for all races and nationalities in Jesus Christ.

Now what is the correct interpretation of "dogs" in Revelation Chapter 22: 15?
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his Commandments (Matt 7:21), that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15 For without (outside the city gates) are DOGS (Greek: kyon literally or figuratively Dog), and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Cross-reference to a similar verse on those outside the city gates or those burnt in lake of fire.
Rev 21:8 But [the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable] and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
As the gates of the city are always open, outside the city must be the lake of burning fire or hell otherwise the "Dogs" would freely enter into the city.
Rev 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

Take note that there is no consistency for "Dogs" to mean "Gentiles" or pagans when the other categories of people are basically workers of evil and not a race. Let us see it make any sense to use Dogs = Gentiles; it will read as "For without are Gentiles, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie."
Dogs in this context must be a figure of speech. It simply does not make sense to only include dogs and not any other animals. Why only dogs? If dogs are Gentiles, then it would read " For without are Gentiles, Arabs, Samaritans etc ...".

The final conclusion is that dogs are false teachers, false prophets, contemptible, the coward, unbelieving, abominable, unholy, and the apostate. Through Jesus Christ our Lord by his death, resurrection and ascension to the throne of God, there is hope for all races. Jesus never use the word "kynarion" to mean "kyon" or the redeemed Christians amongst the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars.
