Did JESUS "I am merely the Son of Man"?

Quote
Dear Bible Scholar Positron,

Is it not that David was warning Christian people like you,

" NOT TO TRUST "

His future descendant Jesus aka " SON OF MAN ? "

RESPONSE

Did Lord Jesus say I am merely the Son of Man??? Did He not say "I am the Son of God"? My hope rest on the Son of God.

John 10:36  Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

John 19:7  The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

Lord Jesus Christ can do every thing that His Father does.

John 5:17  But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
John 5:19  Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

John 5:20  For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth: and he will show him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
John 5:21  For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
John 5:22  For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
John 5:23  That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father which hath sent him.
